So I've learned that quick drops don't always mean danger when it comes to Abby. She ended up leveling off pretty much on her own and I was happy with last night's numbers (I missed that +5 because I was on the phone with the ex). I know Abby's not done with keeping me on my toes though!

Nice job last night. Hope the talk w/the ex wasn't too stressful for ya.

You now have more data on Abby regarding her dropping numbers and how LC, MC and HC can help guide her down.

Hey Kristin! Very nice numbers for Abby today! Loks like this dose is working & Abby is doing well on it--
Moonie makes sudden drops from time to time, but you just learn to use your tools -(Your hypo kit)
Karo, LC MC HC and your meter Oh & strips!!--That's all you need to control those drops...
I think you are doing a great job--Cant believe you were here in 2008, so were we!!! ;-)

Thanks everyone. Abby appeared to surf blue all day. I'll take it. The trial by fire the other night did help with my confidence in shooting lower than I normally would. I can comfortably do that at night because I can watch her but during the day it will still make me wary and I'll have to have different thresholds. Now for fun I'm going to try and get some workouts back in in the evenings too!

And Tena, the talk with the ex started off uncomfortable but 90 minutes later I think we had both gotten to say and hear what we needed to say and hear. I'm still not sure where we're going to go from here (we broke up 5 months ago) but after all that time I was glad he called. He always liked Abby so he was sad to hear she was sick again.

I'm off to visit some condos!
 
Good girl Abby.....surfing those blues. I hear you are trying to "train" your bean to help you to surf those greens. :mrgreen:

Carolyn - thanks, I use two shades of yellow for the 200s too. I can't take credit though. Some people were doing this back in 2008 when we made our first visit to LL and I just "shamelessly stole" theirs. I see people now have simplified the colors and I just didn't want to go through the effort to convert it!

And yes Tena, Abby is trying to train me. I can't quite figure out what she's trying to do with these last few cycles but I'm sure it'll all make sense eventually :) She might have learned that if she just takes it easy that i won't have to poke at her as much and she can get some beauty rest!!
