Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (road trip recovery fuel: Good job Elsa!), and Happy Tuesday. :-D
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, recently graduated from barista school! I lost my training wheels!!! Sweet huh! and I gots my very own signature foam too! SWEET, double SWEET! So.... on my first official day on the job, I Elsa, kitteh barista proudly offer Mannie's patented 10 hour energy ~O) and My very own, peppermint mocha, smothered in minty whip and chocolate drizzle. And YES, underneath all that is a dollop of chocolate marble fudge ice cream. Dang good huh! ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Yesterday I went on a a spur of the moment road trip to look at some river parks for Nicholas and I. I visited five, and of those five, two may do, with one being the park of choice, as it has river access and trails and trains and all that a growing boy could want. So... successful venture! I also drove further on east towards Stevens Pass to visit a falls that is just shy of the town of Skykomish. WOW! Those Falls, Eagle Falls, were gorgeous! and ever so fast and furious and high and cold. What a great day. I dodged rains now and then, and a nasty drive back through part of Gold Bar in heavy rains and very strong winds. :shock: Crazy stuff! I had hoped to visit the shelter yesterday, but discovered upon arriving that they are closed to the public on Mondays. BUMMER! Guess I should have checked that before heading there. :roll: :lol: :lol: Well maybe I can get there today. If not, hopefully this weekend , for sure.

Have a great day everyone. I am off to breffis with my son this morning, and then lunch with a friend in Seattle. Today is my birthday! WOOT WOOT! I wasn't going to mention it, but then I know so many of you do FaceBook and that will be mentioned everywhere there which will carry over to LL, so... WHAT THE HECK! Today is my birthday, another year older, another notch on that belt. YaHOO! party hearty!! :lol: :lol: party_cat party_cat

Such a cool road trip yesterday....Nicholas is going to love it!

Happy Birthday...celebrate in style. Maybe Elsa has a special cake up her furry little sleeve ;-) :lol: !
 
Morning Michelle, what a great condo ttoday and congratulations to our Elsa, Lil Bit kitteh Barista's opening day and no more training wheels. Oh yum on that signature foal Elsa. It is awesome. Thank you Elsa on the 10 Hour Energy coffee, too. It is perfect and Mannie is proud.

Those are both beautiful parks to take Nicholas. He will love the Falls. Such beautiful places in your area.
I remember our shelter is also closed on Mondays. Maybe some day this week. Have a wonderful time with your son for breffifs and your friend for coffee.

Yay for finding new rivers and parks to explore .. too bad you live so far away from Niagara Falls .. I bet Nicholas would be in awe of those falls :lol: Bummer on the shelter being closed on Mondays .. but it will all happen in good time like it should ..

I have just come back from breffis with my son - YUM! Good food, good times. It was great to share a birthday with him. He was born on my birthday so many ears ago. What an awesome birthday present. We had a very nice time over pancakes and sausage and bacon and eggs scrambled with sausage veggies and cheese... and fresh biscuits! YUMMMMMM! I stopped n at a local plant nursery on the way home and bought myself a couple of hanging baskets - so now there are a few pretty flowers on my deck. YAY! Summer is coming.... :-D I am off in a few to have lunch with a friend in Seattle. YAY! Let the good times roll. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Hi Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) THX, It was a great road trip. We both go on that HWY alot,as it has so much to offer, most of which is doable for him. No festivities, short of breakfast and lunch. and maybe just a cake tonight, if only becasue I so love cake. :-D :-D THX on the parks and the falls - I did find a duple of good river parks, and I know he will lvoe tose falls. They are a bit crazy right now, but will calm down a lot once the snow in the mtns has done most of its melting. ANd yes on the shelter. I will get there sometime this week, weekend for sure.
