well he is a bouncing as expected 305 @+11 I have to work today so will not be bk until more then likely his +10 DH is home to check and feed lunch he is feeling good even with the high number of course Mama Bean hates pink all P's in place hope everyone has a great day in LL :mrgreen: ~O)

Ouch. Hope this bounce clears quickly and Do Lou's weekend is full of sunshiny yellows and clear sky blues.

That's an ideal forecast!

Is DL a skinny kitty? Maybe that's why he bounces so high ;) Tugger, being the larda@@ he is, never seemed to be much of a bouncer. Lil hops but no big BOING! like DL is doing! It's not a bad thing though, he'll clear it soon and be looking down the ladder again in no time. He'll start to like the lower numbers much more and he'll avoid those bright pinks and yellows for the more manly blues and greens.

So Lisa, I haven't ever seen an explanation for Do Lou's name... care to share the story behind it? I've been curious for a while now... =)

Some times I think they bounce just to get a little rest for their ears. DL will be back down soon.

No Marvie you need to look at my recent you tubes of him and you will see he is a big boy and for his name well his real name is Red Ferne Judah Ben Hur one of my fav movies of all time and I am weird about the no 41 and had a dream concerning this number before he was born and in the movie Judah is no 41 on the slave ship well when he was little I was calling him Do Dah and then Doodles and somehow it became Do Lou which is really slurred even more when I talk to him :lol: :lol: Marvie here is my you tube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/zakezin

pmps 250 wow I ended up being gone all day long :sad: long day had to stop by my aunts who is 86 to look at her kittys eye and drop off some ointment oh :lol: :lol: Do Lou's vet or was his vet now more just kinda hanging in the wings asked this morning how he was so we had a chat and he of course is so against the daily curves, and the SS and is a firm believer in only a 8 hour fasting BG and so I told him he really needed to LEARN more about lantus that he just did not know much this was before knowing what unit amount Do is one now he thought he was still on the 5.5 and eating dry we had not talked in a while since he is so darn bkward and stubborn anyway I am so confident now with what I am doing at least I have no problem feeling now that I know more then he does when it comes down to this insulin anyway and its not like he could not learn. So he said Ok wow if you are doing that well with him then you must be doing something right keep me updated and he just kinda walked away :lol:
 
+6 181 well I was trying to go to bed and he was just a purring and sitting on my pillow wanting a snack and I had a feeling he was lower my DH calls it the purr meter he purrs much louder the lower the BG is too funny anyway I am off to fix him a snack and then BTB :-D

YAY!!!!!!!!! I remember how badly your vet made you feel. Now, maybe he'll begin to be open to reading the journal articles. You've done an incredible job of semi-converting your vet by your example. And just think, you only had to do what you thought was right and resist the urge to beat him senseless with a 2 x 4.

I am just now reading this :lol: :lol: beat him senseless with a 2x4 :lol: :lol: maybe he would listen if I did this and yes I remember that day well too how bad I felt and I am so happy that I stood up to my vets they are good in many ways but need to learn in many others FD being one of them I am sure the articles I gave him were never read :roll:
