Morning everyone!! Disappointing numbers anyway...so there isn't much to report. He has been eating well and everything seems okay with him other than the pinks ohmygod_smile He did something very new last night though....so sweet...he was on my bed as I was going to sleep and he actually stayed up by my face for the longest time, then moved to down by my legs....

Flat Pat did get two naps yesterday...once on my bed and once on the couch. I told you about a week ago that Raja had decided that the top of my chest of drawers was a really great place to spend lots of time. WELL~ she has been there, day-after-day ~ but yesterday, Shadow decided he would try the spot. She waited on the cat tree next to it and then decided she would raise the stakes. DH heard noise coming from behind the dresser and sure enough...there was chubby back behind the catty-cornered chest of drawers!
I brought food over and she squeezed out! I was so surprised that she could fit through the little opening.
HOWEVER....later, when it was time that i HAD to check my boy for his +7 ~~guess where he was? And not budging either!!! The pair of them were snuggled behind my dresser!
Those little characters! How would I be able to test him? nailbite_smile
Move the dresser of course!!! :o
Two perfectly good naps were totally wasted with my physical activity then. I took out all the drawers and moved the dresser and the two of them looked up at me as if to say "Oh boy...you ruined everything now!!"
Of course, the dresser is now tight up against the wall...no fancy catty-corner kitty-corner...oh my...I just realized how funny that is....is that where that expression came from? KITTY corner???? We always said "catty -corner" but the term Kitty corner fits NOW!!I It sure was kitty corner yesterday!

Raja is always trying to outsmart me...she is lying on top of the dresser as if nothing has happened.i
I hate having a battle of wits with a cat when i end up loosing.....II think I won this round, no?

Hey Pat--Dont get discouraged--These numbers will come down, we all go through going up to come back down..
I have no idea what moonie is doing half the time--Makes me CRAZY @-) @-) @-)
Shadow is well & healthy--That's what matters, I know you know that, but we all have some obstacles along the way!
It's All The Parties!!!!! These cats are party animals!!! Sending their numbers in crazy directions!!
Shadow, Moonie says you look so so good in blue!! How about it??

Silly kitties, making mom move the dresser! Pat, we have a very head strong pup, Niam, and anytime we "win" a battle, we're like Mom and Dad - 1, Niam - 99,000. He wins most of the battles! We love him more than I thought was possible, but he challenges us on a daily basis!

to bad about the pink, but this isn't a high pink so theres a good chance shadow can come down from there today ... funny story about the dresser .... kinda funny the places these cats can get into!

What a drop! He is licking both bowls now. He spent a record amount of time licking Raja's neck and then worked on his own body for awhile. Both of them shaking my bed as they gave themselves baths. Then, Shadow got to the top of the chest first. I thought that was pretty funny. Then when I came back into the room, they were BOTH on the chest of drawers. Bunched up on the top while there are so many other places for kitties to hang out in this apartment. They really keep me laughing! :lol:

Pat I love the dresser story.
I am sorry about the numbers.....you know I certainly understand how frustrated you feel.

It does look like Shadow is coming down nicely though.
I hope you can get a few naps in today.

Big drop indeed! What do these kitties have in store for us? I hope Shadow decides to keep the plunge under control today.

yea the bounce is breaking! It wasn't a super long trip, so that's good. He can redeem himself today. Maybe they will keep you busy this afternoon moving more furniture?

Too funny about the dresser story!!! It reminds me of the last road trip that Brooke, Morris & I took! Morris found all kinds of neat hiding places in our hotle room! Thankfully, my 11 year old daughter is very small & very flexible.....she was able to fish Morris out of his hiding places when needed!

I understand your frustration with the ugly numbers......I am so there with Morris right now as well. Part of me would just like to throw the meter out the window & not test for awhile......but I know that is not the right answer. Looking at Morris, he is a completely healthy, happy kitty....just has darn ugly numbers on the ss!!!

Shadow is liking the colours of the rainbow today. How about some green tonight. :-D

Not so hungry tonight but he did eat a little. Wow...just flashed back to when he was first dx. He was so ravenously hungry all the time. This is so nice to see...a normal hunger now.....
 
Nice place to be starting the pmps. Hope you get a good, slow , controlled drop and are able to grab some sleepus - Yeah, tomorrow is friday!
