5/13 Old timer Spot Caturday a day late report

Good morning Lantus Land from Deb & Spot. I hope everyone has a happy Mothers Day....we should all be celebrating because of are Mama beans!!!

Spot is doing great....now that we got rid of the toasted insulin and started using the good stuff that CD & BigMac sent us! This morning Spot gave me a beautiful amps of 77 and last night he gave me a nice 48 @ pm+4. He got a few taste morsels of Tempations along with his nini snack to help bump him up.

Although we haven't seem much of his imaginary friend and zippy pants lately, he does get his excercise running from Mr. GeeCee, who insists of chasing Spot around the house every so often just because he can. Spot has been sleeping with me and waking me up minutes before his timed feeder is to open. I get nice purrs and kitty kisses at 1:20 am and 3:30 am usually. I think he just wants to make sure he's the one who gets the fuds in the feeder because GeeCee, Ali, and Ralphie all have figured out when it opens and they sometimes beat him to it.
Since the weather has gotten nice, Spot is also enjoying his time out in the great outdoors, sleeping on his chair....his most favorite thing to do besides eat!!

Civvies are doing well. Ali has been almost re-converted back to wet food and of course, like the true diva she is, won't eat what everyone else is eating (sophisticat) but insistes on eating the Fancy Feast elegant entres. Ralphie is still on the predneosone for his back legs. He seems to be getting around good and has discovered that he can get up on the bed and jump over to the window seat and he has been enjoying the birds and the outdoors. GeeCee has settled in nicely to his new home and new family. He is still a bit skiddish with some things, especially visitors. He's used to me and mom, but if someone new comes in he runs for the hills and hides for a while. He enjoys playing, but the other three don't since they are quite a bit older than him. Roomie's kitty, Squeekz is the same age so they have a great time together. To bad roomie is moving out and taking Squeekz with her. Gee will miss him terribly.

Morning Deb and Spot, and all the civvies! how great to hear from you. Even better that all are doing well. GO SPOT - you so totally rock. Too funny on Spot and the feeder. Even at the hours chosen it still sounds like a nice one on one time. I am glad too that GeeCee is fitting in so well. What a story that one is. Very cool.

Would you let Spot know that he left his zippy pants at Maui's condo. I'm not really sure why he took them off when he came to visit, but I did hear there was an incident, something about "falling" into the pool with his clothes on.

I don't know if he was pushed or if he fell or what exactly happened. Maui's being a smarty and using her blindness as her excuse... I didn't see nuthin she said. She said that the music was on and they were playing the song, I'm sexy and I know it and Spotty was getting wild, he said, look at me, I'm an M&M and he ripped off his clothes and started dancing doing the wiggle and next thing anyone knew, Spotty was in the pool!

After the party broke up, his pants were found hanging off the diving board. They have been washed, dried and pressed are hanging in the hall closet, waiting for Spot to pick them up.
 
Great Report on all the Furbabies. Wonderful that all are doing well. I'm sure you appreciate Spot waking you so the others don't get his fuds. Doesn't take them long to catch on does it?

bwaaahaaaahaaaa! So that is where his zippy pants have gone....That Spot certainly is the caricture, isn't he!! And Ms. Maui....forever the friend claiming she knows nothing! I bet she had a lot to do with that!

Hi Deb, Happy Mothers' Day! Hi Spot, did you get your mamabean a nice present? (or were you expecting to get one from her?). It's great to hear how well Spotty is doing. You must remind him to come to all the parties: we almost ran out of cinnamon for Mannie's birthday party!

Thanks for the Old Timer update, Deb. I love that Spot is doing well on BigMac's insulin. That juice must have extra special magic in it.

I am glad to hear that the rest of the gang is doing well, too.
 
Hey my Sweet Friends!!! So glad to hear from you!! It's been a while--Moonie misses Spot, one of her BFFs, and we are so glad Spot is doing well!! Love the playing & chasing, I really miss Moonie & Copper(GA) antics like the cat racetrack in the hallway...When cats have fun, they have fun!
Sure is good to see you here..Please come & set a spell more often--BTW-Happy Mother's day to you as well--Hugs & Love from us!!!!!!!! :-D
 
Thank you guys for visiting our condo yesterday! We miss you all very much also! Spot told me that I must make time each and every day to visit at least 5 or 6 condos, so that is what I'm going to try to do! So, if you see our name up as visiting and didn't get to your condo, rest assured that we will eventually get there!

Dyana: Molly is doing great too! She is such a happy girl and just loves GeeCee...or at least Gee thinks she should love him, lol. He will go up to her and give her all kinds of rubs and if she is sitting, he gets up on his hind legs and rubs against her. Of course, after the lovin' he starts a bitin' so that part she is not thrilled about, lol. She is happy the warm weather is here or at least close to being here so she can hit the creek!
Mom is doing well, too, thanks for asking! Still working at CVS part time and gearing up to take a few vacations this year - Ocean City, Nags Head, and Vegas! Still getting around, which is awesome after her small stroke last year.

Hahahaha Celi! That is probably what Spot was doing right before he fell into the pool....the little bugger likes to boogie!

Linda, yes, that is some special insulin we got from BigMac, in more ways than one!

Okey dokey, gotta get back to work. Will visit condos when I get home!
