Good morning folks,
Well our community is a bit of a mess. A tornado went thru north of town. It really was a severe weather night. The good news is we are fine. I will call the insurance company later and get the few things fixed on our house.
Misty had her first orbax dose yesterday for a UTI. Since then she has begun grooming herself and this morning she decided she did not want her ear pricked. I had to wrap her. I am taking all of this as good news. I will order some higher carb LC food later and pick it up on my way to work.

Update: well in all the commotion and lack of sleep around here it didn’t dawn on me to slow roll the new food in. So I gave her a bowl of the Iams 8% and she proceeded to slurp it up. Couple hours later it is everywhere in my bathroom. Sink,wall, floor. Anyway I have some new food on order and will change over throughout the weekend. I didn’t get a chance to catch a number during her nadir. I will keep the .1 insulin going unless folks think I should change it.

PMPS she drank a pouch of hydra care instead of fluids/ orbax dose. She looks so great today. She has a sparkle in her eyes we have not seen before. She interacted with another tabby cat named Bear. He groomed her as well. Now if I could just get her insulin under control.
