What a day yesterday - one very pleased bean. it is so nice to see these blue amps green cycles back... it has been what seems like forever, though I am sure that is not true. I hope Mannie can keep them coming! Right Mannie? cat_pet_icon For me what was nice about yesterday morning was that my DGS was here, and it really didn't seem to bother Mannie. We had a nice green surf, I was able to test while the baby was here. I was a little apprehensive about caring for an infant and also have a green kitty with an active cycle. It went well, so I am relieved. :cool: :-D :-D If Mannie felt bothered he just retreated to the basement where it is quiet. Good I think that there is someplace that he can go when he feels the need.

All is well in MannieLand. :cool: We had an off and on poke-a-thon yesterday. He still loves his nanners after a poke. Too funny: I poke, feed, he heads off to the nanners for a chew and a slobber, followed by major hugs. It is just too funny... :razz: :razz: We had a really nice sunny day yesterday. Mannie was able to spend most of it outside: alot of grass roaming, yard surveying, and major sunning on the deck. It felt great to pet his back and feels the suns warmth. :cool: Things are normal this morning: clean late club for breffis, auto feeder ignored as always, civvie whacking once or twice, nanner arranging: back to the circle pattern. All is well in MannieLand.

Oh my friends.... another day with that tiny human..... shesshhhhh!!!! he is kinda cute though. He has all these cool toys to play with too. I like his toys - some of them make nose, some of them light up, some of them roll.... Those are kinda cool. oh wait!! what am I saying?!?!?!?? ... darn tiny human! I so need a break..... SO!!!!: We are off to celebrate Java making OTJ: party to cook for!! Let's roll kitchen krew - we have much to do! ~~ Chef Mannie

Good morning guys .. that sure was a nice cycle yesterday, and today isn't looking to shabby either! I'm glad to hear that mannie is more and more comfortable around your DGS .. and that he got to spend some time in the sun yesterday .. I love feeling the sun on mocha, she's always so warm! Good morning Michelle and Mannie! We are so glad to hear that Mannie wasn't stressed by your DGS. They will become fast friends once Mannie figures it all out, then you will have the best of both worlds! Mannie had such nice numbers yesterday too. :-D

Beautiful day for Mannie....LOVE it. Busy day for you, but you handled it quite well. I will be interested to see what Mannie does the 1st time DGS takes a nanner to play with....hhmmmmm..... :o :shock: ;-)

Mannie.......we will work on the diversion plan, later k? I'm sure we will comes up with a good one!!! See ya at Java's party....it will be a great party, like all of our parties are. :lol: Mama's coming back...gotta go....don't want her to see we are planning anything...bye!!! ~Zoe

Wow...that's all I have to say!!!! Oh..never mind that, you know me...that's never enough for me to say!! He's doing splendid, fantastic. So happy.

Hope you enjoy your day with DGS!!! Glad Mannie is doing better with him.

Mannie...we can cook here if you want so you can get away from that tiny bean. We got lots to do today!!

Hi Devon - cycles are great - i am enjoying this! DGS is good today too - he's been in the basement most of the time, but I am OK with that. He can sleep in peace there, :cool: If the patten holds he should spend the afternoon with us. :cool: :razz: :razz:

Hi Melissa - me too on the stress level - I think he has finally figured it out: kid is OK, and if he doesn't like the noise he finds quiet. YAY!!! and go smart kitty! I have no doubt that they will be buds - Mannie really is a good people kitty. --- Friday the 13TH?? Sheshhh - it is!! Hadn't even though of that. I think I will make it a lucky one!

Hi Iorwen - thanks - yesterday was great - I loved it. Looking good today too. I don't mind the low blues at all. and thanks on the juggling act. It was a huge relief for me that it all worked.... paws crossed it stays that way. :-D

Hi Beth - :lol: :lol: Lucky Mannie indeed! I know on the nanners. it does make me laugh - anytime he is upstairs and DGS is here, he always cruises by the stash, gives it a once over, just to makes sure that there is no baby slobber on it. uhhhh....EUWWW!

I hope everyone if having a great afternoon. DGS and I just returned from a hour walk. Sunny afternoon, and he seemed to enjoy it. An added plus: we didn't loose anything along the way - came back with socks still on, pacifier still within reach, blanket in tow. SWEET!

Hi Patty - Thanks - day has been good so far. Out for a walk, and play time to boot. He is so curious about everything - quite fun to watch. and YAY! Mannie still surfs.... :-D :-D

Hi Michelle, I'm a little late getting to condos today, but I see Mannie Nanners is doing great, and so glad Mannie isn't now affected by the baby. Heck, I'll bet he will start looking for DGS on your days not babysitting. Maggie's nanner came in the mail, and she just rolled around on the floor and thinks it is the best thing ever
Usually in the middle of the night I find her mouse toy on the floor next to my bed; now it will be the nanner!
I only ordered one, as i didn't know how she would react, and now I may have to order the three pack and share with Maggie's friend next door (Kitsi).

Hey Mannie, I'll start making something for Java's OTJ party; I forgot where we are going; I think it's Gracie's house to do the cooking, Yeah, then we can use her pool, too, I'll be waiting for you, Maggie

Hi Michelle. I see Mannie is showing a nice blue surf today. Nothing scary there. Tomorrow if Nicholas isn't there, Mannie can do a nice low green surf.....oops, maybe you'd like to go out on a Saturday :-D

Hi Barb - Yep, nice mellow blue surf. :cool: :razz: I kinda like these: low blues, gets the job done, and the bean doesn't have to shift into panic mode. :lol: and I know - never met a cat who did care what we do. I always get the "whatever" look. :roll: :lol:

Hi Ann - It is nice that he really does not seem to be affected by my DGS. We had a couple of crying things today. First one he went to the basement, the second he looked at the baby with that" what is your issue?" look. Improvement. :-D :-D I am so happy that Maggie likes her nanner - awesome! I remember when I bought the first one - it was the same for me. I only ordered one, as I wasn't too sure how they would take to them. I had to order more right away as it was a battle a to who got to play with it. Bet you can't guess who usually won. :lol: :lol:

Maggie - YOU GOTS A NANNER!!!!! Awesome - I knew you'd love it. They are the best! and yep - that would be an affirmative: cooking at Gracie's, well prep work, and then off to Java's! See you soon - Mannie

Hi Michelle, I'm a bit late to condos tonight. Had to spend all afternoon in the garden getting it cleaned up from winter before the next deluge of rain begins (we're supposed to have rain for the next 5 or 6 days!!! The cellar will be back to square 1!).
Delighted to hear that you and Nicholas had such a nice walk and that Mannie and the baby are OK with each other. I wonder if catnip is good for baby beans??

Enjoy your evening. The kitties will be partying, as seems to be usual these days!!!

Hi Ella - no problem on the late thing - it is the way it is for me when I have my DGS - I can barely keep Mannie's running, and just cannot get to others. so... very late for me - and I am sure I am missing most of the east coast folks. bummer! And yes - the walks with DGS are nice. They are short, as he's just not quite ready for my "epics" We get about 1.5-2.0 miles in. :cool: :cool: Mannie is coming along. I think acceptance is forthcoming. --- I too wonder on the catnip and baby beans... I can hardly wait until he decides to go after one of those! :lol: and eeeuuwwwwww!

Yeah - I am tired... I am almost glad his +5 is up, now I can go to bed and not worry about him until the morning. It has been a great past few days.(and very busy!) I wish they would continue. A rise at +5 is not a good sign. Well, we shall see what mr liver decided when I get up. :lol:
