All is well in CurryLand. Being home this week has helped to increase her activity level and perhaps lower her overall bg levels. Maybe, maybe not. Just a theory I have. She has been less active since I had to isolate her almost 4 months ago.
I correspond w/my Vet Behaviorist about every 2 weeks by email updating her on Curry. I sent her the video of Curry and Sidney getting closer last Tuesday. She was pleased. She also reminded me that I need to "punctuate" Curry's calm states w/the clicker followed by a treat. That part I've really neglected in the last few months. So I've got my clicker back out and have the treats near by....Ready for when I see Curry behaving correctly w/Sid.
I'm giving myself and the girls a break tonight from the exposure sessions. We had a good session this afternoon. I sat in between the two...Curry in her crate and Sid about 5 feet away in the cube. I had Curry's treats right in front of her and played with Sid w/the Da Bird toy. Sid was popping out of the cube like a Jack-in-the Box, but Curry just focused on the next treat. Man...can Curry focus and tune out when she wants to. Then later in the day I had Curry chase her treats in order to get some exercise.
Overall, this was good week. Good job Curry and Sidney.
