Happy Caturday! Thanks to all who visited while I was sick and sent me healing vines. I am so much better today! Mike is the BEST nurse ever but he is pretty tired so he gets to rest today. I got more sleep than I have since we started this dance so maybe it was a good thing....it forced me to stay in bed and sleep.

Ugh on the yellow bouncing .....we were sure we had this behind us for the most part. Gracie seems fine...maybe a little quieter than usual because she is not used to these high numbers. We think those 60s the night before and yesterday might have come from a little extra insulin. Unfortunately, I had not shown Mike how to dose using the calipers before I got sick and he did an awesome job but he thinks he gave her more insulin as a c.75u than I gave her. He knows it was less than 1u but not sure exactly what. I wish I knew because it seemed to work well for her ;-) I know we'll figure it out.

Marje, I am so sorry you were sick but glad that you are feeling a little better. Mike is so sweet, taking such good care of you. I think DH and I are always messing up Simon's dose. It is so hard to be consistent with how we draw up the insulin and judge what is the right dose.

Now, Miss Gracie, time to get down off of that high yellow floor!

Hi Marje, so glad you're feeling better and that Mike was there to help. What a sweet caregiver and DH!
I hope Gracie clears the bounce. Whatever Mike gave her seemed to work with the pretty numbers. Hope you get the dose figured out. I'm probably off more than a few times with the microdosing with Mags. Feel better, Marje.

Welcome back! I'm so glad you are feeling better! Maybe your body just decided you needed to rest! :roll:

Come on back down Gracie! Even though we do everything the same it's alway nailbite_smile when someone else does the shot. You'll get it dialed in. Or maybe Gracie thinks you still need to rest and is giving you a day off.

Glad that you're feeling better, sometimes it's nice to have a rest. And you've got a great DH to help with the caring of Gracie!

had to check in on you guys and see if you were vertical yet! vertigo is the very worst! i'm glad you're feeling better. :YMHUG:

oh gracie, on that bounce! yikes! we like the greens better - but she'll get back on track soon. hang in there!

Gracie, that's nice of you to give your beans a break but they are ready for some more action. Marje, glad to hear you are feeling better. Kudos to Mike as BIC for a few days and taking care of everyone.

Glad you're feeling much better, Marje. Edward had that bug last winter (as did about 3 other people in his yoga class, but we didn't know that when the bug hit him and we called 911!! Awful night in the ER for nothing!)
Keep getting good rest. How great that Mike is home. And I'm sure that Tobey is a big help with some spa massages.

Thank you all for visiting today. Some dear friends had a pool party/BBQ for their son who just graduated from UofA and since I was feeling better and Gracie was higher than usual, we thought we would go have a relaxing afternoon with friends on this gorgeous day. No burgers for me :-D but the fresh air was great and it was a lovely afternoon and the best part was coming home to an almost green kitty :-D

Hi Marje,

I'm so sorry to hear your were sick but glad you're feeling better now and Gracie too. DH did a good job of taking care of both of you. I'm sure Gracie knew you weren't feeling well and was worried about you. That would also explain her quietness. Feel better!
