I did a CBC on Floyd yesterday and his hematocrit and RBC count have gone down since February, so I will be starting him on methyl B12. I'm going to try oral first, then recheck in a month. If no change, I'll try the injectable. I added the numbers to his SS if anyone is interested.

I hope it helps, I got the pure essentials brand on amazon, they don’t add a lot of fillers and extra stuff to their preparations which is nice for cats and especially for diabetic cats (so many sneak in sugars). Only ingredients other than the obvious: hypoallergenic plant fiber/cellulose (it is a sugar, but it’s undigestible) and vegetarian capsule (I just added it to her food and didn’t even use the capsule).

Nice to see his phosphorus and glucose down on the latest Labs. Do you give multi B complex and well as the methyl B12?

I think he's had time to resolve his bounce and didn't see green again. I think you are clear for increase. Unless you want to wait a day until after celebrating Mother's Day with less pokes.

I add a B complex to his food, as per Dr. Lisa's recipe, I have not given any additional supplementation beyond that. I have not yet, but will try to sit down and do some actual calculations to see whether the amount in the food roughly fits with the amounts listed on Tanya's CRF page. I'm making another batch this weekend.

I'm ready to increase!
