Eegie had regurgitation last night, so very light food overnight and this morning, hence, I think, the low number - and then... I was trying to get the shot in the flank - but he's cranky today and I believe I got a full air shot! I petted and it was wet. Don't want to do anything else at this number, so I'm just going to monitor all day and get back on track tonight... Oy!!!

OR - do I do a +6 shot and do the 18 thing? I mean +6 then tomorrow morning? Help, please...

I think I'd be more upset if his AMPS was higher (as it usually is, except for last night's bout of the return of the regurges... Oy!

But thank you for letting me know I'm not the ONLY, BIGGEST SPAZ MOM around! It feels somewhat better....

@Patricia & Noodle and @Wendy&Neko - knowing to just go on my "merry way" will help - and I'm still gonna test him annoyingly, all day - or at least every 4 hours today... He's getting cranky about that, btw...

This stuff is EXHAUSTING!!!!

Feel free to give yourself and Eegie a break today if either of you need one! If you want to get a few spot checks to see how the missed shot affects him, that's ok, but it's not necessary. He won't go low without the insulin and there's not much you can do for high numbers until PMPS. Sometimes a pokey break for a cycle is nice to curb developing annoyance in our kitties--and let you get a nap!
