Oh, my.....Spot does not like his antibiotics....nor does he enjoy getting the bupe. It is much easier giving him his 1/4 tablet of pepcid in a small piece of velveeta!!!
But I got last night's and this morning's doses into him using the burrito and also putting a clip on his scruff.
He ate well last night. For his nini snack I gave him almost a half jar of chicken baby food (he stuck his nose up to his regular food) and he ate every little bit, licked the plate clean. He woke me up for his pm +6 snack and ate his regular food. He was a bit wobbly on the feet, I'm guessing from the bupe, so I put the feeder on the top step of his stairs, which worked well. He didn't wake me up for his +9 snack, so he either made it out there when it was open and the other furries didn't get it or he slept through it until breakfast.
I did not give him his usual morning medicines except for the L-Lysine. Holding off on the Miralax since one of the side effects of the AB is diarrhea. I don't want to give him a double whammy.
I shot a .5u this morning. My reasoning is that 1) He did well on the .25u, but he is back to eating 2) if the tooth was the cause for his higher bg's then the .75 will be to much and no one is going to be home to monitor him until 3:00. Better safe than sorry.
I hope everyone has a good day today. It rained here this morning, but the sun is shining bright now. Hope it stays that way. My grass needs cut again!!
