A stinky pinky start this AM, but not staying there long! Zener seems to be feeling a little better each day. He let me massage his tummy today so it must be less painful. And his appy is improving. We still hold our breath each time we put his bowl down for him and he isn't asking for food yet. He has had 2 cerenia injections and his 3rd and last is this afternoon. I will be home today to help Liz with it. That big needle is traumatic for beans!

Chief Inspector Crapdash spotted the suspect in action this morning! I brought Zener in for a test because I needed to dash out for a bit. He was not happy and some hissing ensued. Immediately after the test, he went outside and found the perfect spot for a deposit! A nice healthy poo! And those are the morning adventures of the Mighty Z and Chief Inspector Crapdash. Detective Poo had the morning off. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Maybe Zener is trying to show Rupert the way down... unfortunately Rupert is having issues with the down escalator today! nice to see Zener leave that pink behind.

I'm glad Zener's appy is a little better and sending vines for his tummy. The Cerenia needle sounds big. I hope all goes well with the third injection.

@Pip - Zener is on the down slide. Don't encourage Rupert to take on Zener's techniques, it makes the beans crazy!

@Ann & Maggie - and now the poor guy is having to endure a stall, lots of pokies, and no fuds! You're welcome for the ATrak strips!

@Serryn - possibly a pj party, he is giving us some Olympic sliding today.

Looks like he may be on the way up, but we are going to test in another 20 minutes to be sure before we start our feed and shoot routine. Since Zener's appy has been iffy lately we want to be safe.

He certainly is presenting you with a challenge this evening! Very nice surf, but it doesn make making that shot decision a little tricky!

This is Zener's first time below 50 on this dose. Our plan is to shave on the next drop below 50. That was our strategy on the last reduction and that has held. I gave him the pill pocket to bring him above 50. I'm going to shoot when he goes above 80. We can stall since our schedules are flexible now that the semester is over. Woohoo! Neither kitty is too happy about the delayed dinner but Zener is chasing Tillie so he is feeling pretty good. Anne is off to her dinner, somewhat distracted as she forgot to change out of her houseslippers. :lol: :lol:

Poor Zener. He is being so patient. We test, no food, he gets a drink of water. Anne went to her dinner and didn't mind all that much being late since it's an end-of-year department thing. At least she gets to put in her appearance.

Helen: I wish he would listen to you but so far he is content to surf the low greens, too low for us to shoot, especially with his somewhat iffy appy.

Amy: Whenever we think we are getting a handle on his cycle, he throws us a curveball. We swing wildly and miss. :lol: :lol:

Melissa: I hope he listens to you, that part about a little higher.

Roni: Yep, he's a rainbow kitty today. He seems to have perfected the all day slide.

I do have an ulterior motive to stalling: I get to sleep later in the morning. :lol: :lol: Anne will be the one to stay up tonight with him. I suspect he will zoom up once he starts. That's what he's done the past few nights after green during the day.
