Not much to report here...happy appy, snuggles, trotting around, general feistiness. It is nice and warm now...this bean is happy! And all the kitties are now in summertime mode, which means snoozing as flat as can be on the second floor of the house, where it is extra toasty. We do use the AC, but keep it to a minimum, so it is pretty warm up there now. They seem to love it!
Mother's Day lunch was pretty good, but the restaurant was (of course) very crowded, which made it hard for my parents to hear. My Dad was in a bit of an edgy mood, which I think was in part because we all has some "association-induced anxiety", since the last time we ate in that restaurant he ended up in the ER with the pneumonia. And, they had a "special" menu, which did not have a single vegetarian option, much less a vegan option. Fortunately they were very accommodating to DH and I. We don't expect "mainstream" restaurants to fully cater to our needs, but at the same time it always amazes me when they exclude an entire section of the population. Oh well...
Time to get moving...have a great da, L&LL!
