Hi again Everyone, Thanks for your good wishes for our 6-hour drive. Stu was a really good passenger today. Didn't even get sick going down the mountain road with all the curves! We arrived a little after +7 and so Mr. Cat was treated to an ear poke at +8. He was offered food on the trip, but didn't eat much. He enjoyed some snacks when we arrived. He expressed great interest in our 3-lentil chili (take-out from the Gourmet Garage), but didn't get any! He likes to get up on the table here and inspect our food. Otherwise, he probably slept in the late afternoon (we were out walking and doing some food shopping). Now he and DH are listening to the radio and I am up in the party room on the roof of this condominium (free wi-fi) typing this message. Everyone have a great evening and I'll try to keep you up to date on what we are doing and how Stu is doing. Tomorrow it's supposed to rain. On Thursday I'm going on a bike ride to Liberty Island State Park in NYC harbor, but technically in New Jersey. From Central Park we ride down the West Side bike path to South Ferry, ferry to Staten Island, ride across Staten Island, ride across the Bayonne Bridge to New Jersey, and ride to Liberty Island State Park. Then back via Hoboken ferry to Manhattan and back up the bike path to Central Park (and then, for me, a ride over the Queensboro Bridge into Queens and then over a small bridge to Roosevelt Island (which is in the East River between Queens and Manhattan), where we have a tiny apartment. It should be a wonderful day and it is one of my favorite rides. I hope the weather will be good. While I am out on my bike, DH and Stu will take care of each other.
All for now. Tomorrow night is the opera, so I probably won't get a chance to write too much. Just wanted everyone to know that Stu had a great time at Tugger's party with all his friends and will tell them about his trip soon.
