Hi Everyone,
We're home in the Adirondacks, a good trip, if tiring (not much sleep last night after the opera, which was a wonderful performance). Rusty was so happy to see us when we got back to the apartment around midnight. He had a much better number this morning and again this evening, despite the long car trip and throwing up his breakfast on the first sharp turn (again!) He ate a little during rest stops on the drive, but wasn't really interested in his food (even though it was FF T&G!; but he did eat some freeze dried treats). When we got home he went straight to his food dish and had a large snack of Wellness turkey (it was +9.5) and then drank a lot of water. I was amazed, because I have NEVER seen Rusty drink water (I always add it to his food). He must have really been dehydrated.

The cellar: Well, parts of it look a bit better, but other parts look the same and other parts look worse. The pump is working. In any event, it isn't horrible, just bad!! I did some shop-vacing and some sponging this evening.

Off now to relax in front of the TV. I hope everyone is well and will try to visit a few condos later this evening.

Thanks for visiting us in the city.

I hope you have a chance to put your feet up (and hopefully, they are dry feet). It certainly sounds like Rusty was happy to be home.

So glad to see you made it home safe and sound that the Opera was wonderful, Rusty did quite well except for the dreaded turn and the cellar is, well, still the same sort of but not really!! @-)
Enjoy the rest of your evening~~ relaxing sounds exactly like the right plan for you tonight..

welcome back!! I have to ask - didn't Stu do the same thing: toss his breakfast at that sharp turn? I wish I could remember for sure....

I am glad that you had a great and safe trip. And that Rusty has better numbers today. That 198 was an omg! for sure...

And yay that the cellar isn't worse... Signs or improvement. Just ignore it for the rest of tonight. I am sure that the kitty bucket brigade will show up at your doorstep in the morning.

I was wondering the same thing. Just how fast do you take that corner?

Glad you had a good time away, Ella. Rusty says 'No more'.

Nope, Stu gave up his breakfast on a different turn and further into the trip down to NYC (at the bottom of a long, steep hill going into Keene in the High Peaks). Neither of them ever gave up their breakfast in NYC (until today). I hope this isn't going to become a pattern for Rusty!!

I think I'll start a new cartridge tomorrow morning. We're at day 43 or 44 of this Lev. cartridge. Rusty is higher again tonight.

Was going to visit condos, but it's late and I'm really tired. See you tomorrow,

NI Ni!
