Pretty sure, but not certain, this mornings shot was a fur shot. Just when numbers were starting to be predictable ... way high, but predictable. Going to be a long day.

Bummer on the possible fur shot, Marilyn. Don't let it get you down too much - we have all been there and done that. You may have gotten more in than you think, too. I remember thinking that I had given Jersey a fur shot once; I think she dropped below 50 that day! (That's a perfect example of why we never try to "re-do" when we think we've given a fur shot.)

You may want to make a note of the possible fur shot in the comments section of your spreadsheet. That can help when we're looking at patterns in Polly's numbers.

Number's up at +2. Sure looks like a fur shot. Is there anything I can do other than just wait this out and watch those numbers climb? I can't test keotones. She wouldn't let me near her in the box and if she's isolated from the other cats (closed in a room) she won't pee.

Can I adjust her shot schedule to get the pm shot in earlier?

I'm a bit of a wreck! Any help, advice, experience would be soooooo appreciated.

If she's still really high late in the cycle, then yes, I've seen where others have said you can shoot a little early...Like an hour, but that's only if she's still really high.

We've seen so many times where someone has thought they gave a furshot and then the cat took a dive!

The +2 isn't really a good test to decide on since usually the Lantus doesn't start to really "kick in" until after +2..up through then you're dealing with the food spike, so it's possible Polly could come down if some did go in

Don't feel bad....everybody does furshots now and then!
