I know you all know this know - but what an amazing group of people. A day doesn't go by that someone here is dealing with tough decisions, in a panic/crisis, dealing with loss, needing advice on myriad issues, or soooo happy because the bad situation has turned around or their ball of fur has gone OTJ. AND this group surrounds us with words of wisdom, incredible depth of knowledge, hope and encouragement. I am in awe each day as I see the increasing number of people that are joining. Such a lot of energy and so many people helping each other. This board is a bright spot and when I make my mental list each day of things that I am thankful for and that make me happy - this group is always included. Thank you.
So Pedro won't have his Cushing results back till later this week. They have to send the test out - didn't for my dog but it is differerent for cats - what else is new? He also ran a new blood panel, urine test, and another pancreatitis test. Wants to see where he is at now vs. previous numbers. Once all results are in we will have a talk. Will be next week as I will be out of town. He was pleased with the fact that Pedro is gaining back weight and eating better. Felt overall he was just doing "better" and Pedro didn't try to kill all the techs when they had to draw blood three time throughout the day. They didn't have to muzzle him - said he was just in a much better mood. I think part of the issue the last two times he was in there was that he was sick and felt awful so didn't want anyone touching him. Of course last night his BG was 138 but since he was just back from the vets-
I'll see where he is at BG tonight and if he is going back down to where he's been I'll start his (shhh)OTJ trial when I leave Thursday nailbite_smile
And yes Sienne, someone will probably have to come and do an intervention and take my needles away.
