5/10 Maggie

Morning ~O) ~O) A little high today for Maggie! I think it's a little bath stress and also overnight snacking. Mags had some prezzies early this morning! :-D nice surprise, as I was not expecting them again. She needed some help cleaning up; normally she doesn't mind the bath, but this morning she was very vocal with the half bath.
I found Maggie's Pepcid pill wrapped in a pp in bed. I thought for sure she swallowed it last night. She is on to me to with the treat followed by a pill.
I think I got about two hours' sleep here and there last night. I'm not sure what was up with Mags, but every two hours she would get restless and vocal. Maybe she had some tummy cramps.
I wonder if some Feliway would help Mags!

Elsa, looking forward to some 10 Hour Energy coffee today. ~O) ~O) I am so sleepy.
TWC says we will reach 80 degrees today. I'll try for an early walk before it gets too warm.
Have a nice Saturday.
Healing vines to kitties and Beans needing them.

WOO HOO Prezzies!! Not so whoo hoo on the pepcid in bed. ohmygod_smile Where in their little mouths do they keep these pills until they spit them back out?
I hope she's feeling well today and you both get some naps to make up for last night.
Happy Caturday!

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) (hot and good, from Miss Elsa)

oh too fun on the PP with the pepcid. well maybe not.... Mannie did that too, or he'd cheek the pill, and I'd find them later on. I too could have sworn he's swallowed them. Well, the gig is up, and Maggie is on to you.

YAY for prezzies! bummer on the half bath. Must have been one of those "not today mom" days. Sorry for the restless kitty last night. I hop maybe you can catch up on some sleep today.

Have a good one today, and enjoy that morning walk. We are supposed to be 75 today. I so hope they are right.

Re: 5/11 Maggie AMPS 277

Hi, Ann, I hope you're able to get caught up on rest today. I hope Maggie's tummy and tushy feel better, too.
Yay for prezzies! Good job, Maggie Girl! (Now think blues and greens!!)

Enjoy your day!

Much better, and I think her AMPS was a lot of tushy bath stress.

Angela, thanks on the prezzies. She's reading your comments with the nice drop.

Hi Mary, I wonder, too, how she kept that pp/pill hidden when I quickly popped it in her mouty after the treat. :?

Hi Michelle, I think so, too, on the bath. She was just not in a mood to have a bath. Once I towel dry and lay her on a nice blankie, she's all purry and giving herself the real bath.

Hi Josie, thanks on Mags's tummy and tushy. I think both are feeling better. Her appy is good and no vomits.

Yay on the prezzies, but sorry she needed the half bath and didn't like it today. I had a cat that would hold the pill in hour mouth for what seemed like hours and then spit it out. I would find the pill in different parts of the house.

Nice +3! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Maggie!

yup I remember those days with Mannie. Most of the time he didn't mind, but we did have days when he thought I was the worst bean ever for getting his tush all wet.

Re: 5/11 Maggie AMPS 277; +3 147

Thanks Michelle! I remember those days of Mannie getting his tush bath and the squinty eyes afterwards. I need to get Mags some lavender soap in honor of Mannie.

Re: 5/11 Maggie AMPS 277; +3 147

Nice +3 Maggie Girl!
I have been cutting the pill pocket in quarters...just enough to get it around the 1/4 pill of Pepcid and that works sometimes. Instead of the entire pill pocket. With Pepcid, i sometimes crush the pill and fold the shavings into a half a pill pocket.
And then there's the tiny piece of cheese that I use sometimes too.
When one has to do the same thing twice a day with two kitties, it gets pretty old when they KNOW you are coming at them with something they do not want....so we do the same thing everyday, twice a day and it is annoying to all three of us. LOL. They see me coming out of the kitchen and their ears go flat. They suddenly turn and try to scoot away. I have to zero in on one of them at a time and usually end up chasing that one around the coffee table.
I think of the African plains with a cheetah or lioness as they zero in on the one lone gazelle in the herd...
or the one lone wildebeast.....
You have to zero in on only one target and stay focused as the chase begins....LMHO.
Hope you gusy have a good day!!

Hi Pat, thanks so much for weighing in on our little pill smuggler.
I think I will try your method of crushing. I'm probably using too much of the pp. Oh my with twice a day and two kitties. I probably should be giving Mags Pepcid twice a day with the med she takes. I'll check with Vetty next week. It's too bad it doesn't come in liquid form.
Have a great day, Pat.

Very nice slide, Maggie! Sorry to hear about the lack of sleep and the odd vocals. Hope it's just a little tummy cramping and that it goes away asap! Hope you have a wonderful Caturday, Ann!

Mags came down from the yellow floor quite nicely, unlike her BFF. I guess she was in no mood for that bath today...or the PP....but yay for Prezzies!!! I hope you guys have a wonderful evening!

Hi Ann,

Hehehe on the pill dilemma. Okay, it's not funny, but I'm picturing what I go thu with Checks. I found today's pill, after he left the kitchen. He must have been cheeking it.
Sheesh, wouldn't it just be easier for these cats to just swallow it!

So, I know we like Miss Mags in her little green 'kini, but blue is nice too....especially blue pmps. Hope she surfs there for the night. :-D
