Logan had his recheck today and his blood work looks good. His ALT is back in the normal range so we don't have to continue the Clindmyacin. Tonight was his last dose! He's very happy about that! Starting tomorrow, we're going to 2.5mg of pred once a day. Currently, he's at 5mg once a day. Hopefully, his BGs will come down some more! We've taken his metoclopramide down to once a day to see how he handles that and so far so good so we'll probably stop it all together later this week. Logan had gained 0.3 lbs since his last check up two weeks ago. :oops: We'll have to start watching those calories even more! All in all, he's doing very well. He's tolerating the Leukeran very well. She wants to recheck his blood work in two weeks and if all looks good then we won't have to go back for 4-6 weeks.
 
Sniff sniff...I just got overwhelmed with that....silly me.....I am so thrilled to hear of his downward dosing on all that stuff. So glad he gained a little rather than loosing a lot. Ya know? At least it shows that he is eating enough. :lol: That was a nice +6 today too....great report Kelly! Hugs to Logan from us!!

Thanks for stopping by, Pat! His weight gain is definitely a good issue to have since it wasn't too long ago that we were struggling to get enough calories into him every day. We've been giving him 3/8 of a 5.5 oz can four times a day and then boiled chicken cubes for a late night snack. The cat food is ends up being about 300 calories. I was going to cut his bedtime snack to 1/4 instead of 3/8 but he gave me that face and i couldn't do it! Not tonight! :lol: It's such a relief to see him eat. He's been so much more active lately. You can see the difference in the way he walks around. He even took a swipe at me tonight when I walked by him. Little punk! :mrgreen: He also attacked his "special" brother, Preston, this week - not cool, but kind of good to see since that was a normal Logan behavior.
