Good Morning Lantus Land!!!
Well ....it's not pink today? With having messed up the dosing, I am just happy it isn't pink. ohmygod_smile
Yes still kicking myself over the dosing issues...
Yesterday's Condo
Attie had a decent night as far as BG's go. Between the messed up shed and the pop-up thunderstorms...we were grateful to approach the low 200's last night. Last night at bedtime he kept trying to get under the pillows, not under the blanket, under the pillows! He was pretty stressed out and it was hours after the really bad storm had moved through. In fact, it skirted us. We barely had any rain, wind, or hail. Just lots of lightening and rumbling.
Well last night's summit observation. Gary was on the back of the chair looking out the front window. MudCat ventured into the living room and started acting all coy. Her usual evening ritual with me. Gary noticed and watched. She noticed Gary and jumped up on the sofa end-table nearest to me.
Gary jumped down to the seat of the chair. Took on the pounce position and did a butt wiggle.... No growling or hissing from him, that's the play signal! Minutes passed as he waited for the cue from MudCat...I didn't see her signal and Gary got tired of waiting. With a leap from the chair and two bounds across the living room he was at the end of the sofa play charging her!
Oh my....I did not know there was a wildcat in the MudCat! Ears back, eye dilated, and ...well she sounded possessed.
She didn't run away though. I was able to distract them both and Gary was content to go pounce on a play mouse. MudCat immediately relaxed and looked at me as if to say...."do you see what he just did? did you see that? Aren't you sending him too bed for that..." I looked at her and calmly replied, "he wanted to play," and then joined Gary in a play session.
I spotted Gary earlier in the evening wanting to play with Attie, but Attie was too freaked out by the storm. Gary was crouched down around the corner doing a butt wiggle for a "surprise," and it seemed when Attie rounded the corner Gary realized ....Attie wasn't up to playing right now. Gary sat up and just let Attie pass by.
I always thought MudCat was a youngster with all her playing. Now with Gary's personality starting to really come forward...he is a much younger cat than I thought (5). He might be only 2 or 3 as he is much more active than even MudCat.
