Happy Mother's Day to all...whether your kids are human or furry, this is the most amazing group of MamaBeans I have ever had the honor of knowing!
We are also so very saddened to read about sweet Blackie's crossing. She will forever be remembered here in L&LL, and our thoughts and prayers go out to Angela and her DH.
Trix is feeling pretty awesome today...anti-jinx, of course. Happy appy, snuggles, and general feistiness. She was even chasing a bug this morning...I don't think I have EVER seen her chase a bug! Unlike the rest of our spastic hyper herd, Trix has always been very mellow and low key - her idea of playing is rolling around and rubbing her face on 'nip toys. Of course, though, I didn't let her catch it...for one, it's one of my crazy vegan traits to save bugs and take them outside, but I also didn't want to risk having anything possibly upset her very happy appy.
We are heading out for a late lunch with my family for Mother's Day....this is the place that has the 75 cent martinis. The last time we went there was the day my Dad landed in the hospital...he seems to be feeling great, too, so hopefully we won't have a repeat performance of that....huge anti-jinx.
