This morning when we got up the bowls weren't scoured clean as they normally are, so the AMPS reading MAY be slightly elevated due to food. He ate some breakfast though, so insulin shot as normal.
Edited to add: first strip I tried this am I got that same strip error message... I think I am going to go and see if I can get a new meter and strips - not sure what the policy is at Shopper's Drug Mart, where I got these, but something seems wrong with one, or the other, or both. (In Canada the simple BG monitors are free but strips are around 80 cents each... yesterday I went through more than 15 strips through good tests and bad ones... grrrrrr
