Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (Per the norm: so needed after a DGS day.... ), and Happy Furday!
Miss Elsa, out local Barista in Training has been hard at work. Not only has she been busy perfecting the 10 hour energy, she spent most of the day yesterday cleaning and sprucing up the treehouse. She hopes that Mannie's buddies will come and spend time there now and then. She knows it is what he would want. I understand too that she installed an ice cream freezer up there too. Whoa... you kitties really have it made now! There was no need to hunt down morning brew today. I woke up to two steaming cups of 10 hour energy, plus what smelled wonderful! Cimmamum apple mocha, with a dollop of dutch apple ice cream. YUM! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Elsa!

Nicholas and I went to Whatcom Falls Yesterday, near Bellingham, as it had the best weather forecast. I was beginning to wonder though when we were driving up there: Fog was everywhere, until about 1 mile from the Falls. There we had sun and warmth and blue skies. Perfect weather! We had a really nice time, we must have walk those trails a dozen times, visited the fish hatchery three times. He just couldn't get enough. Alot of creek wading and rock tossing and stick hauling... :-D On one side of the falls there is a small trail that will allow one to walk out onto the top of the smaller falls. so I took him out there, he really loved that. kinda cool to be standing on top of a waterfall. How many ever get to experience something like that? The rest was what was normal for us when we make these "river" trips: rocks, sticks, and river wading, lunch out in the middle of it all. We had a great time, he didn't want to go home. here are the Picassa photo and video links: Whatcom Falls, Whatcom Falls Fish Hatchery, and last but not least: some photos taken while en-route to the falls, Nicholas was being such a goof ball in the back seat.... The Many Faces of Travel

Yesterday Nicholas asked about Mannie. We were playing in the jack yard, and he was busy trying to catch Elsa, who was always just out of reach.   He stopped, then turned around and said he needed to find Mannie too. ;-) So I told him we couldn't , Mannie was gone. He thought about that a moment and then said "ok, but Mannie still happy?" I told him he was, an that was a smile getter for sure from Nicholas. SO we talked some more about the big guy.: all those pills, and all those fuds, and all those nanners. Fun to hear what things made an impression. Miss ya big guy, you will never be forgotten, not by me, not by your best buddy Nicholas.

Have a great day everyone! It is another Nicholas day for me - back to the pool, and then whatever else we can find to do. No doubt the Energizer FISH as Amy called him, will be hard at it.  Love that kid!

And kitties.... remember! Think BLUE, think GREEN!

Beautiful pics of your trail hike and love the pic of Mr. Bear eating strawberries. DGS sure was fighting going to sleep, but finally it got him, so sweet. That is great with your talks about Mannie. Mannie's on his mind, and it's neat he asks about him and your talk with him.
Have a great day today. It is the Energizer Fish  and then hope a nice river adventure. Have a great time, Michelle.

Hi guys,
What a wonderful condo today. The pics of the Falls are fabulous. And what fun it is to stand on top of the falls and watch. Nicholas looks so happy with all that moving water.

Mannie must surely be sending purrs to Nicholas and letting him know that he is happy. It is great that Nicholas is keeping his memory alive.

Thanks to Elsa for the 10-hour energy coffee. Sorry she made a mess in the kitchen, but the gang will help her clean it up later, while you and Nicholas are at the pool.

Have a lovely day,

Hugs,

Ella & Rusty

Auntie Michelle, Elsa is putting in so much work on the tree house that we have just got to come there this afternoon and check it out. Tess is driving the Furrari from the Dunes, but we may have to pick up the bus, too, since lots of kitties will want to chillax in the tree house and finish up the icecream. I'll try my paw at driving the bus! Elsa, we'll see ya later. Better get more icecream!
Rusty

Glad that you guys had such nice weather .. I agree, Mannie knew you guys needed that day out and gave you the perfect weather for it .. the pictures were great, I saw them on FB and thought the one of Nicholas right there at the falls was pretty cool ..

HI Everyone! Nicholas and I have just returned from a great day at the pool. The ENERGIZER FISH had another awesome day. We were back to swimming all over the big pool with the noodle, jumping in from anywhere and everywhere, swimming underwater, and just having a grand time. I so wish I had his energy! He wanted to do the trail by the pool again afterwards, so we did that too, after a mammoth lunch. How does that kid eat so much. well duh....burns it off. I brought him home for a nap. under such protest. oh sure... I can hear him in there laughing and playing. wow, impressive! no nappin' today. I so feel for his mom and dad.... I will post photos in tomorrow's LLips condo.

Hi Devon ~O) ~O) ~O) Thanks, I so would like to think so. it was gorgeous there, and funny that it was just at that waterfall park. It cleared elsewhere when we were headed ho,e. Awesome!, and thank you Mannie! THX - I loved that photo too. it was so him, right in the thick of it, up to his ankles. :-D

Hi Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the photos, and I so agree: being able to stand on top. I love that place, one can do that there. It is just very cool. Yes - he was very ahppy - moving water like that is one of his favs, and a large reason we do rivers alot. He has such fun there. THX, and I think so too on Mannie and DGS and keeping the memory alive. I talk about him too so that he can remember. LOL on Elsa, and tell the gang I appreciate their clean-up efforts. She is trying so hard, just never been a neat one.  Now if we can get her past the ice crea on that coffee.  Probably not going to happen.
Rusty - dude! can I call you dude too? Elsa will be very happy if you guys want to come to the treehouse this afternoon. She just wanted it ready for anytime you want to come here. She's all excited now that kitties are comng, and has made sure that the ice cream freezer is stocked. See you kitties later! ~~Auntie Michelle Bean.

HI Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) Elsa says she has got you covered. Seems out little BIT really likes the coffee gig. ;-) her part she say to keeping her bothers memory alive. What a good sister she is. She hopes Mannie is pleased with the treehouse - he loved that place. What fun we all have, huh! Mannie thanks on the photos - it is such a great lace to visit. I think so too on his remembering Mannie. It's all good, and he sees it all with a smile on his face. Nice! THX on today - it has been great!

Hi Amy :-D I so agree! I'd give anything to have half of the energy he has. it is endless! there was no nap today, I could hear him yakkin' away in his bed, no sleeping.... shessHhh! I would have been, well was, wiped! yupp, Elsa was needed here today for sure. I'm glad she's taken on the ~O) business here in LL!
