Maxie!!!! You are not made of rubber...really you aren't you are a kitty....stop that bouncing, you are driving mom crazy! Trust me, that pretty blue number was okay really it was, you need to have a long talk with your liver and tell it, it is okay for you to come down to the blue floor, we won't lose you down here we promise.

Man, he really reacts when he hits those blues doesn't he? But you are doing great with him Dale, he will eventually get use to those numbers just got to order a couple more pairs of patience pants..its rough I know to get such a good day and then see those reds and blacks again. Hang in there.

Thank you, Mel. I hope this gets better soon. I really think we are getting closer to the right dose, but these kinds of days are tough.
 
Oh how well I know, these kind of days was why I finally switched Musette over to Levemir. Which actually might be something to consider for Max if he doesn't quit bouncing like a rubber ball...Musette was the Queen of the Bounce before I made the switch with her. She will still bounce on Lev but they aren't nearly as high and I can usually shoot through them.

Oh yes it does, in fact that is how I got ahold of it to try it with Musette when I switched her over to it, my mom is a diabetic on Levemir but as a human is very high dose compared to a cat...so she always has about 10 to 20 units left in her pens. So I asked her if I could get a couple of her "leftover" pens to try Musette on and see if it did a better job than the Lantus.
