5/1, Susie, 239 AMPS

Increasing her dose to 3.00 units tomorrow. I have some time to be home early this week. Will be gone all morning on Thursday but hope she won't pull any stunts on me that morning. Will also be leaving for a Mother's Day late afternoon dinner next week on Sunday so I hope she is good then, too.

Oh, that's the kiss of death...I hate to say it but every single time we have something planned, Luci pulls out the green swim suit...wants to go diving and playing with the sharks no doubt! Well, I have to put my foot down on those plans of hers with some medium carb food and the auto-feeder...:banghead:

I think it's just them, leaning over our shoulders with their big fuzzy heads - antennae acutely tuned in to what we're thinking!:joyful::D:p:facepalm: That'll be the day she decides to make a run for the greenies...just watch...

Love how you write so descriptively. What did you do, or what do you do, at the University? It isn't/or wasn't creative writing - was it? You are one happy lady, Sue. Bless you. You are fortunate. I always look forward to what you have to say. Never condescending. Just your sweet, unbiased opinion.

what do you do, at the University

I'm actually a programmer - I develop software for a custom application for the department of Neurosurgery - for a bunch of faculty who want information about their operative procedures, patient locations, lab/pathology results and a bunch of other stuff - it makes their lives easy and provides the information to them instead of them having to go searching for it. Once EMR's (electronic medical records) came into being, patient information is collected and stored, but very buried in a sea of data.

I've worked on this application for 25 years...and the last 12 that's all I've done - prior to that I worked in an IT department where I worked on many different applications. It doesn't take much creative writing to do that - but I do enjoy writing and don't usually have much trouble conveying my imagination - :joyful: I try to be supportive and kind - and never ever forget how I felt in the early days of Luci's diagnosis and how overwhelming this all felt to me.

You have a great evening Susie! Thank you for your kind words.:bighug::bighug:
