Yesterday's Condo

A decent start for Mannie today: 286. It was nice to see him pack his bags a leave RBC last night - made a 108 @ pmps +6. Here's hoping that he doesn't decide to make a return trip! cat_pet_icon

Hi Deb - I had hope so! Though Mannie decided to revisit RBC. bummer. We are at 476 ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile at +5. Having said that, I hope this bounce, and revisit, is short lived, like usual. paws-crossed! Com'on Mannie - you can do it! cat_pet_icon

So do I - I'd love nothing better that a poke-s-thon today, just to track this bounce. Not too sure I can, we still have a tile/construction guy in the house. makes it difficult. Mannie is really good about rolling with the punches, but all is stuff is in different places in the house. :lol: :lol: He just stands there and looks at me with the "and where do i go today" look. Ya gotta love it.

Oh I hope Mannie comes down. I'm glad to hear you like your feeder. I just figured mine out and set it for 2pm and 3 pm, so we'll see what happens.

Well now - ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile a 513 at amps +9. what is up with this sugar baby!?!?! It's been a while since we have had a number this bad. Mannie - residency at RBC is NOT a good idea... darn it! He must have found that trampoline again.... Oh well, it is what it is - and we hope for better by days end. but shesshhhh! :shock:

Ann - I hope the feeder works for you. I found mine to be great - timing is right on, and it enabled me to offer food to him when I wasn't home, and keep the civvies out of his stuff. He now knows the sound that it makes when the tray rotates, never misses those snacks. I have found him at times waiting for the tray to turn. :lol: No moss on that rolling stone.

Hey Mannie! No more construction stress!! Just let it roll off your back and com'on down from RBC. It's not a great place for a fine cat like you. I'll come over with a dish of something and we'll relax. You supply the drinks, OK?

Any chance this is a fur shot? Or maybe his numbers suggest he's more stressed by the disruption than he's letting on.

Hi Sienne! No - no fur shot - I am ever so diligent about that, and have always been able to see the needle in the skin before I shoot. No residue, or wet spots or or or.... Mannie is exceptionally good about staying put, and still, until he gets his shot. So - I think I am OK on that end of things.

I had a momentary panic here when I could not find him... seems he sneaked out with the tile guy - and was camped out in the back yard, in a sunny patch. Which does make me wonder if he is more stressed by the construction - it is a new tile floor, there is alot of tile cutting, which is extremely noisy. I think too that he, being a creature of habit and schedules, is more bothered by not having all his things in the usual spot. Too many changes.... You'd never know it by looking at him - very mellow, no agitation etc.

i dunno.... just really don't like these numbers, and am trying to keep him mellowed out, if one can even do that with a cat. Insulin is new - can't be that....

And Ann - tell Stu that mannie has the drinks ready. He could use a diversion from that nice, but noisy and unknown, man who has taken over his kitchen, and his test spot, and his watering hole, and his food dish. :lol:

Phew !! I think! We have 448 at pmps. I hope this downward trend continues! paws crossed! ya know - someone should come up with one of those smilies for that: paws crossed.

Thank you to stu who showed up with a fantastic dish - that and the drinks make for a very relaxing afternoon. Mannie is grateful! :YMHUG:

we seem to be clearing - 344 at pmps +2. and descending rather fast. looks like it will be another night of testing....
