Good Morning World! Welcome to our home! Yesterday

AMPS 289

KT did another one of those dives again yesterday afternoon - his nadir seems to be changing to about +7-+8 now...why I have NO idea! He wiggled around 100 all the way thru PMPS last night, I shot a bit reduced last night just in case he wanted to continue the run. I got up at pm+6 to check, he was at 254 so I went back to bed...shucks - I wanted a better number than THAT tho'. All P's in place but he's doing his 'hard food' chant...NOW NOW NOWOWOW NOW! I'm good at saying NO NO NONONO NO!

SpikeKitty has a broken toe! I think he jumped the MeanBean's chain link fence and got his foot caught. It's the long toe, the one used for turning, first one to touch down, etc. That's why he's still holding it up. The swelling wasn't from infection, it was from the trauma but ab's didn't hurt anyway. He'll start using it when it quits hurting - I'm seeing him touching it down to balance a couple of times this morning.

Leo's back to gasping again, lungs looked awful on xrays but he's still eating and drinking - I'm stuffing even ANOTHER a/b down him again. This one isn't flavored, he takes it just fine. If anything has a flavor, especially a fruit flavor, he gags, froths, shakes his head, runs...can't do those! I'm hoping we'll see improvement by this time tomorrow. I nor they know what's causing this - nothing on his blood work shows anything out of whack.

WATER! BUT NOT OURS! WOOHOO! I got a call at 6am waking us out of sound sleep - my elderly neighbor in tears - her house is flooding from a leaking pipe upstairs. It's been leaking for quite a while but just finally started coming thru light fixtures, bath heater, out of closet, etc. We hurried down there even before coffee to start sucking up water. We pulled about 60 gallons of water out of the downstairs carpet but it's still soaked. Her insurance company will be taking care of the rest of it - ceilings, walls, carpets, furniture.....they'll suck up the rest of the water, move furniture, put down mold stop, etc.

NO POOPY PUPPIES! We've now had 2 nights of no more runny poop overnight! Nice thing for an update huh...but for ME, it's HUGE! I'm really sick of cleaning up behind them. They're STILL shucking dead worms, poor things couldn't GET enough food to feed the worms and them too! They've both gained over a pound and have grown just in this short 2 weeks.

Thoughts and prayers today for all our beans with kitty/doggie shaped hole in their hearts.

BIG HUGS to all that visit today!!! DANCE WITH US!

Lots going on at your place. No diving KT and no hard food. Silly guy. Oh poor SpikeKitty. Broken toes are no fun. I hope it gets better soon. Poor Leo. Healing and breath better vines.

Have a wonderful day Lyresa!

So much going on in your life! Vines to all the furbabies who are ailing! I hope they figure out what is wrong w/ Leo. I'm glad you neighbor has good insurance!

Omigosh Lyresa, too much on your plate.
Poor SpikeKitty, with the booboo toe. I hope that stops hurting soon.
It must be so awful to see Leo with the gasping and not be able to find out what is wrong. I have a similar problem with something going on in Checks mouth and 'they' can't find it. I truly understand your frustration!

Yay on the pups with no runny poo. And of course it's huge, when you have to keep cleaning up after them. And you want them to feel good, of course. I'm glad they're little tummies are doing better, Lyresa.
