I is very important to test his BG before every shot, if you are and his BG is dangerously low, if you have honey or Karo Syrup at home give 1ml (use syringe without the needle) in his mouth and give to the cat,
test glucose, if still low feed 1-2 tsp of High carb food (gravy)between 16-24% carbs, re test every 15 minutes and feed same amount until BG is in safe number, diabetic cats should have a diet of low wet cat foods between 0-10%, you should have a HYPO KIT handy that will include Karo Syrup or Honey, some medium car food between 11-15% carbs and some high carb food between 16-24 below is a Drs Food list with many brands to choose from the third column contains the % of carbs per food. I will tag a knowledgeable member on Lantus that can help you with dosing :bighug::cat::cat:

Yes, I have a hypo kit on hand and we had to use it the other day because he went low because I accidentally made a mistake and pushed way too much insulin so now he’s bouncing
 
What dose did you give your cat? Your spreadsheet says 0.5u -- that's a vastly different dose than 5.0u. You have 5.0u filled in as your AM dose on 12/30.

Yes I didn’t recognize the needles were 30 units not three and the first day he got five units. That’s why he dropped so low and he’s bouncing I think. He’s OK I just panicked this morning because the 411 was so high and it goes red when I put it in the spreadsheet, so it freaked me out
