Now THIS is much better. Whether or not we'll stay here without a bounce remains to be seen. Today's breffis was a blend of BFF Tuna and Chicken Chuckles, with a little bit of Paw Lickin' Chicken. Both were refrigerated leftovers, and much to my surprise, she CPCed! I don't think she would have CPCed the BFF by itself, but she LUVS her Paw Lickin'.

To answer Courtney's question from last night's condo about the age of our juice...I just started this pen a couple weeks ago, so it should be A-OK! We've always been able to use every lost drop without a problem.

I'm still not quite sure what to do with her dose. I was 100% ready to go with my plan increase her last night, but then she dropped like a rock Sunday night, then bounced and stayed in flat YellowLand yesterday. Today, we're back in pretty good numbers - for now. At this point, I have a super-crazy work week and can't increase her until Friday night anyway, so HOPEFULLY I'll be able to figure out some sort of pattern than can give me the answer here.

She loves that Paw Lickin', but I'm pretty sure it's the one that is primarily causing the wacky BGS. At the same time, our choices are now more limited, because of the renal issues, and Paw Lickin' is good with the phosphorous. I'd hate to take it out of the rotation. I'm fine with increasing her juice in order to keep that food, but if she drops too low again, I can't do that. Argh...it's making me crazy now!

Anyway, it's my day off...I'd better start facing those chores! Have a great day, LL!

These silly kitties and their fuds issues!!! These are very nice numbers for little Trixie kitty! Hope she enjoys some surfing time now!! Good luck on the fuds rotation. Such a constant struggle to find the perfect balance and blend. I need to get on it and order some of the BFF stuff. Would be nice to add another flavor into Shasta's bland buffet! Hi guys .. that +3.5 is looking very nice trixie! I'm sorry that the one food she really seems to like might be causing her BG's to rise .. I am sure before too long you'll have everything balanced out .. have a great day guys!

Hi guys,

If a little Paw Lickin' mixed in with other food makes for a clean plate, maybe feed it mostly in conjunction with the other foods so it won't upset the numbers too much? (and all by itself as a special treat). I can't wait to get some and try it.

I know how you feel about dose. It is really hard when their cycles are inconsistent. But it's best to wait a few days after a bounce just to see what is going to happen next.

I was thinking the same thing, Ella...maybe I'll just settle with Paw Lickin' and Chuckles blend for a bit, to see what happens. I know I've thrown a lot of different foods at her lately, to see what she likes, and what works with her numbers. It was so simple when all I had to do was open a can of FF!!

nice +3.5! Looks great - maybe this dose is a keeper for a bit? I dunno.... at least you have time to figure out the pattern. perhaps the fuds are influencing some of these higher bg's? I know for sure it's part of Mannie's issues, but it is also all he will eat. Good luck sorting it all out.

Yay for green :mrgreen: I'm glad you found some fuds she eats; I just got some Paw Lickin Chicken in the mail, I finally found a supplier online in Canada that does individual cans of brands I was looking for :-D But right now, we're doing an allergy trial so no Chicken this week:( I hope the allergy isn't chicken since so many foods have it that I can give, the SPCA may be getting a donation of some good foods :lol: Have a great rest of your day!

Argh, argh, argh. I gave her the same thing for dinner that she had for breffis...mostly Tuna and Chicken Chuckles with a little Paw Lickin'. This morning, she heads down nicely; tonight, she spikes and/or bounces. Argh, argh, argh.

I've been meaning to send for a few cans of the two, that Trixie likes, then see my pantry shelf loaded with FF, from last shopping trip, and can't make myself do it, yet. :roll:

Well she's starting to head in the right direction, rather than continuing on to the yellow floor...at least so far.

Yep, she's been quite the dancer since we've had to play around with her fuds...she was much more mellow in her old FF days. Oh well, what can ya do??
