Good morning, ~O) ~O) ~O)

WCR: appy is ok. Got a few purrs as she tried seducing me for breffis! Got about 5 seconds of play as she stalked my fingers. No preening as of now. 1 pee, 0 poo. Really wish I could read her mind sometimes. I hate not knowing how she's really feeling.

WHR: for those of you who have been following my back pain/injections, etc. - yesterday was supposed to be injection #2. Well, it's been rescheduled for next Monday due to machine problems. Not that it's their fault, but I'm just irritated and grumpy about having to juggle my schedule AGAIN. :YMSIGH:

Ok, running late. Must get out of here. Blessings to you all and lots of blessings to the kitties out there.

I hope Shasta slides down and gives you some blue today. I'm sorry they rescheduled your 2nd injection. I hope your leg doesn't bother you too much while you have to wait.

Re: 4/9 Shasta AMPS=280 +1=232 +1.5=204

Hi Deborah - ugh on having to wait - scheduling can be such a pain, especially when you are trying to get out of pain! Hope you can have a good day.

Re: 4/9 Shasta AMPS=280 +1=232 +1.5=204

Hi Carla, Shasta was headed for the blue floor this morning which is slightly unusual so early in her cycle. With not being there to monitor her and knowing she's had an iffy appy lately, I cheated a little and gave her some 12% to hopefully slow her drop. I'm sure I'll see the consequences tonight in some sort of bounce, but I'd rather a bounce than a hypo. As for my leg, it doesn't hurt, per say, it's just partially numb and the muscles are weak. I just fear that if the swelling doesn't start to go down, the nerve will become damaged beyond repair.

Hi Lisa, yeah, I'm never happy having to reschedule things. I'm sure most people aren't happy about having to reschedule their lives! I knew things were going 'too smoothly'! Oh well!

Hope you ladies have a great day!

Re: 4/9 Shasta AMPS=280 +1=232 +1.5=204

Surfing in the blues would make Mamabean happy, ok Shasta? Let's take it easy today, lil one!

Re: 4/9 Shasta AMPS=280 +1=232 +1.5=204

Hi Devon & Tara! Yes, I'm hoping those carbs don't send her on a bouncy fest! A nice surf in the blues would be fabulous...but I'll never know! haha. I always hate not knowing where her BG is throughout the day. I feel like I live in a constant state of fear over my cat's BG numbers! :o

Re: 4/9 Shasta AMPS=280 +1=232 +1.5=204

Off topic observation of myself: I use exclamation point too much. I apologize for using them so often and for things that should be followed by a period. I will work on curbing my exclamation point obsession. Thank you for understanding.

Re: 4/9 Shasta AMPS=280 +1=232 +1.5=204

Surf safe, Shasta, and eat your fuds!

I use the exclamation point a lot, too...it seems to be some sort of LL anomaly! (See, I just used it twice for no reason...and am restraining myself from using it again right now.)

I'm sorry about your injection. I feel and understand your frustration...maybe the can work you in sooner!

Have a great day!!

Re: 4/9 Shasta AMPS=280 +1=232 +1.5=204

Funny, I am finding myself abusing the punctuation too. :-) !!! :-) LOL!!!

It must be an FDMB thing, and maybe because everyone is so nice!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: 4/9 Shasta PMPS=295 +2=165 +3=140

Another nice quick trip down to the blues. Wonder what she's got planned tonight? Is Shasta up to joining a PJ party?

Hope you feel better soon Deborah and get that injection on Monday. Have a great night.

I had to very careful using punctuation in this condo.

Re: 4/9 Shasta PMPS=295 +2=165 +3=140 +4.5=136

Nice cycle, Shasta. There is an infinite number of available exclamation points, Deborah, so use as many as you like!!!   I hope you get in for your injection on Monday, if not earlier.
Liz

I'm so happy to see I'm not the only punctuation abuser!

Tonight's update on Shasta :
1. She is limping, but I think it's because I snagged her paw while playing with the fly swatter. I was in the bathroom with the fly swatter under the door. I think she grabbed a hold of it and I'm thinking I pulled it a bit too hard. I checked her nails and none of them look gnarly so I'm thinking she's just got the sore limp going on.

2. I left a TON of food out for her today while at work. Probably about 3-3.5oz (typically only leave 2.3ish and she NEVER comes to to finishing). About 1.5 of that was left over from yesterday, so I thought for certain it would still be left when I got home. HOLY COW, how wrong was this mama?! She ate almost 3oz...and all of the leftovers. WHAT?!?! I'm not sure she's ever eaten that much food...since being on TRP.

3. Only 1 little tiny poo nugget + over 5oz of fuds = a cat that may explode soon :o  :o nailbite_smile
