Good Saturday Morning, Everyone,
One eager cat trying to get us up this morning. It's lighter in the room now that we have taken the quilts off the porch doors, so it was an earlier wake-up call!! Rusty had eaten all of his nighttime food and was hungry for breakfast, both sittings of which have been eaten. He's had a brief play with Red Ears and is now on his cushion by the radiator. (The door quilts made a big difference: it's cold in here this morning, since it is still only 22 degrees F. outside, but we are expecting temps in the 50s, maybe even 60. That would be something!) Yesterday afternoon when we took the quilt off the door to the downstairs porch and moved the furniture so that we could open the door, Rusty wouldn't go out on the porch through that door!! It "wasn't right". But he did go out on the porch through the other door, the kitchen door, which doesn't have a quilt in the winter and through which he had gone before. Cats sure are creatures of habit!
Everyone have a fine day,
Ella & Rusty
