Good Morning, Everyone,
It's a cold, snowy morning (really snowing hard), but we are nice and cozy with our new storm windows! Rusty had a good night and at one point in the middle of the night gave me lots of kitty kisses and long head butts. (This was right after my phone sounded with a "message" about taking part in an iPad beta trial and getting a free iPad 3--it looked fraudulent, so I deleted it.) So since it was not the "ducks" that sounded, Rusty and I went back to sleep (Edward slept through it all).
This morning we had a good test, shot, and breakfast (2 sittings): 1 oz. Wellness turkey (40 kcal), 1 oz. By Nature Turkey & turkey liver (20 kcal). I used a scale to measure out the food. As I remarked yesterday, when I was learning to measure accurately, it surprised me how much volume of food there is in 1 ounce! Rusty and I had a "lite" play with the wand, and he is chillaxin' in his basket next to the radiator (today he chose the basket rather than his little bed or his cushion). I don't think he'll want to go outside today!
Rusty's number this morning is lower, so I hope that he'll be back to normal numbers (for him) soon.
Wishing you all a good day and continuing to send healing vines and good thoughts to BigMac, Sid, Rocket, Curry, and all kitties and beans in need of them,
Ella & Rusty
