4/9 Moe: AMPS=275;+3=273;+6=213;+9=245;PMPS=288

Good morning all. Moe’s AMPS is 275. Looks like we might finally have found an effective dose. But his appetite is off this morning; had to skip his probiotic and try two flavors to get him to eat a little. He still hasn’t eaten much, maybe half an ounce? I haven’t given his shot yet. Waiting for him to eat a little more first.

Does he seem okay otherwise? I hope he'll come back and have another nibble or so soon. He just needs to eat within the next two hours. Lantus takes a couple of hours to reach it's peak ...

Finally got him to eat a couple of ounces of Sheba pate and gave his shot just now.

Thank you. He came looking for his bowl a little while ago and ate some more, so it’s looking a little better now.

273 at +3. Appetite improved and he ate a little more. The mass on his lip seems to be bothering him a bit when he eats. Dental and surgery to remove the mass on Monday.

Have you ever tried him on all meat babyfood or the TikiCat Mousse? He might need something fairly soft until the mass is taken care of.

He likes baby food but I have not used it yet. I have one jar of baby food on hand, no TikiCat. I’ll mash up his pate with water to make it a little easier for him. Might try to get out to find some Tiki tomorrow.

Edited to add: the Sheba pate is very smooth and can be thinned easily with water. And he really likes it, so that’s another option.
