Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy Wacky Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! GUESS WHAT! Today is WACKY WEDNESDAY!!! Just like every Wednesday Lola and Bug SWEAR that it won't be wacky pizzas, just wacky Wednesday. Whatever that means.... The whack-a-thon marathons continue. Excellent pizzas to the best whacker! so... well... Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Starbucks Pike Place Market, their original blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with peppermint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

I hope everyone had a great Tuesday, that the day was been a good one. It was dental day here for Bug, and that really dictated how the day evolved yesterday. I was able to get some errands done, a haircut, and visit a local park. Here is what I wrote about the day in yesterday's post: "Hi everyone! Bug is home, and ever SO GLAD to be here! He did well - survived his teeth cleaning, and is home, running amuck for 30 minutes before he decided all was well at home and he could settle some.   He's had about three dinners: his normal on spread out just to be sure it would stay down. It did, so all is well there. He's now sleeping in Mannie's bed, satisfied that all is well in MusketeerVille. Having Bug at the vet kinda put a hold on alot for me today. I needed to be home in the event anything went wrong and they needed to talk to me. So ran a few errands, and waited. They called about 1 or so to say all was well, and that I could pick him up at 4. There is not too much one can do with a couple of hours, so I thought I'd spend the time checking out another park - this one up in Everett: Forest Park. They have a Rec Center Pool there too, which might do in the event of... No play stuff though in the pool, like Nicholas has at Lynnwood or terrace Pools. Nice park in that they had a water spray park, and a really large playground. So... Not too bad overall, but it like others is a bit of a drive just to go to a playground with some trails. Something to keep in mind, and now I know.... It's been a decent day here. "

From yesterday, on BUG'S DENTAL: Bug did wonderfully. No extractions, his toothies are now pearly white and sparkly. No evidence of gum or mouth issues, or future toothie problems. :-D She did tell me though that he is missing two teeth, something that is not an issue. Interesting, and who knows when and how that happened. A part of the mystery of Bug's past. They did get urine (YAY!!!) and tested in house for whatever they were looking at, specific gravity I believe and that came back perfect. I neglected to ask if they will send a sample in to the labs for further analysis or not. I will when I pick him up today. They did check his anal glands and expressed those. Guess they were on overload, so it was a good thing that they were dealt with. Perhaps now he will stop with that carpet scoot. Paws crossed. I will be able to pick him up in a few hours. :-D :-D dancing_cat dancing_cat dancing_cat That will be a good thing as Lola has gone bananas looking for him. She finally settled down for a nap. " Lola was so glad when Bug was home. she had been looking for him most of the day, and wouldn't eat her dinner right off until she knew what he was up too. She is one happy girl now. Her buddy is home.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The kitties were good kitties yesterday, even Lola, for the most part... Lola will always be Lola. The weather was borderline most if the day yesterday and downpour by 3PM. That meant a sleepy day for the kitties. They all take one look at that and head off to bap. All except for Lola - she still likes to look out the windows, rain or shine. She was interesting yesterday. She knew things were different. None of them liked it when breffis wasn't served either. The kitties were major upset with the mama bean: NO BREFFIS! Lola was mad enough that she knocked over a plant from a table, dirt was everywhere. She got the be patience and feel for your brother lecture. She sure did miss him, spent so much time running everywhere looking for him. Between that and looking our the windows I don't think she slept much.  things finally settled into the normal crazy routine her at night. Lola was running, duh, Bug was playing with his toys, and Elsa was sleeping. Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. Nicholas and I are off to swim this morning, while William spends that time at the other grandparents. We are due for some possible sunny weather in the afternoon, maybe we will get lucky and see that yellow thing in the sky. :-D HOPE SO! A trip to the park with the beach would be prefect for the afternoon. I will try and get to condos when I can....

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Awww so sweet that Lola was looking for her Bug:) She must have been happy to have him home, as were you and most of all him;) It's hard on a bean to leave them there. I'm really glad all went well and I hope the bum scooting is not going to make any more appearances!

I hope you managed to see/spend time in the sun today and that you had a good time with the boys:) Have a good night!

I'm so glad all went well with Bug's "Spa Day"...what a relief! I'm sure Lola and Elsa were confused...they are so sensitive to any sort of changes at all - they know when things are different and they feel as off-balance as we do. I bet they were as happy to see Bug as he was to see them.

I hope you're having wonderful evening, Michelle!

Forest Park looks neat. It would do if you needed another option for the boys. I hope today went well and you got some sun for some outside time this afternoon.

Hi Everyone! WOW - what a day! I am finally home.... :-D Nice weather here today. Yahoo! We did have mostly sun by noon, and it stayed with us for the afternoon. That was so nice. The boys and I never did make it back to the house. We decided that out in the sun as in order. Wise choice I think. We topped out at 64, under sunny skies. Beautiful day in the PNW. What a busy day! We left the house at 9, and I wasn't back until 5 or so. WOW: swimming in the morning, pool trail after that, and then Juanita Beach to wrap up the day. OMG, Nicholas played so hard. Pool was awesome, he just never stopped today, so after 2 hours he told me he was done. No surprise as the intensity level had to have worn him out. He was back at it with my camera too - wanting to take photos. He is interesting: still retaking until he got the one he liked. He tried to take pics of a ball in the big pool. That was hard for him, as he was trying to tread water at the same time. Sheshhh - even I cant do that. The whole pool time was fantastic. He literally did anything there was there for him to do, all at warp speed. LOL! But it was fun. After that we ate lunch when William joined us, and then hiked the trail by the pool. I really enjoy that short trail by the pool. It works well for the boys, and gives them a sense of being out in the wild. it's nice that it has a small creek too. So we hunted for berry flowers and skunk cabbage and wandered amongst the bushes. Great time! Little guy was so adamant that he get to Juanita beach that I caved rather than take him home for a nap. He promised he'd nap in the car on the way there. Amazingly he did too. What a whirlwind afternoon. Juanita is really great - all he could want at a beach park. The place should be fun in the summer when it is warm enough to swim in the swimming area there. William really likes that place too. He actually played with the sand today too, and ate just as much.   fun times. I am so sure that they will both sleep very well tonight. Tomorrow we are back at it again....

Hi Rachel - I so agree. To see Lola worry about and watch over Bug was awesome. Very much so on being ahppy to have him home. He did well there too - YAY! Me too on that bum scooting! THX on today - it was really great! sun and we never made it back to the house. Just spent as much time as we could outdoors. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Hi Amy - THX, and me too on Bug's "Spa Say" :-D Yes on the others being sensitive - they both knew tings were different, especially Lola. And yes - very very happy tp see him come home. normalcy again then for them. THX - time to relax this evening. it has been a busy day!

Hi Carla - It is a good park - lots of tings to do there. In all these years of living here I did not know about it, a friend of a friend told me, so I went to check it out. great place! THX on today - awesome day!
