We had a discombobulating day yesterday. There was a power outage and I didn't even think about the fact that meant her feeder for her +7.5 meal was offline. I was much more worried about the insulin going bad since the fridge was off. When I got home from work I saw that she'd knocked over the food and treat containers in her room trying to get food, so I knew she'd been hungry! Poor Ember. I gave her a little meal and then was trying to troubleshoot my internet that hadn't come back on after the outage. Her PMPS was 134! It's usually in the 300s! I'm not sure if it had been low all day or what was going on. I held her PM shot to see what her BG was doing and it was clearly coming up quickly, so I did her full dose and she stayed fairly high the rest of the evening. I'm kicking myself for not getting an AM +10ish when I got home from work but I was so frazzled with the feeder and the internet not working that I didn't even think about it since she's usually pretty high at that time of day. 😖 It was a good learning experience not to be too dependent on technology and to make sure I have a plan to make sure she gets her meals when it happens again.

What an evening! The insulin was probably OK if the fridge wasn't opened during the day. In fact, it seems to be working just fine today. :) Blue preshots are great progress.
