Way to go Willie! Maybe the dip in the Green Lagoon is effecting his numbers.

Okay, finally have a minute! Looks like even with a shutdown, I'll be deemed essential for at least half a day on Monday to assist in winding down operations. Currently working on figuring out what on my desk has deadlines so that my boss, who will be deemed essential for the duration of the shutdown, knows what he could have to deal with (though, if needed, they can call people in and deem them essential for a short period to handle a case).

Willie was on the fast track this morning, and I HAD to be out the door at +3. Left tons of LC food. We are back in the fuds standoff, but Willie will ultimately eat if needed, especially if I'm not there. I'm around all weekend to monitor, so we're good. I do suspect bounce for the past few days, but I'm also suspicious of the FF Turkey & Giblets which he was eating a decent amount of during that time. I think we'll be sticking to BG and Raw for LC from here on out. Will be checkin in on condos later tonight. There are a few folks I know we have missed over the past few days... know that you've been in our thoughts!

Hi, Christie.. thinking of you during this & hoping that you are not affected very long & that any time off will be enjoyable. I know when it comes to finances it is very scary.. hoping you & Willie have a great weekend...

Thanks, guys!! Celi, you just made my day. Well, that and the plan of a colleague and I have to get Julie, the automated voice (though that isn't, ahem, our word to describe her!) for Amtrak to record our "the government is closed" voicemail messages.

For those of you that haven't dealt with Julie... "Hi! I'm Julie, your amtrak representative! Tell me what you'd like to do!!"
Train status.
"Okay, great!! Please tell me your destination station!"
Kansas City, Missouri.
"I think you said Butte, Montana. Is that correct?"
No.
"Okay, let's try again! Please tell me your destination station!"
Kansas City, Missouri.
"I think you said Honolulu, Hawaii! Is that correct?
NO JULIE, YOU [insert derogatory insult here].
"I'm sorry I'm having trouble understanding you. Let's try again...."

Wash, rinse repeat.

Willie appears to be on a mission tonight. Still feeding LC and raw with a few nibbles of rotisserie chicken. If there's still movement at +2, will be busting out the Grammy's Pot Pie. Just would like him to earn the decrease if we're on the verge anyway.

I hope there isn't a shutdown, Christie. The FF turkey & giblets does spike Maggie's bg, so I use it when I want to keep her from dropping too low if I have to be gone at a time when I'm unsure about her. Nice greens this cycle.

And Willie is looking great tonight. He may have to come and rescue Mannie, who sees to have found his lost trampoline. :shock: :lol:

Is the shutdown averted? I hadn't heard that and just talked to my boss and she was giving me the info, too....close down things on Monday yadda yadda yadda.

Love your "Julie". Did you know they say those electronic voices have a very difficult time understanding female voices? I won't even go into what I think about that but the Onstar chick on our car phone NEVER gets the numbers right when I give them to her. She and I don't play well together. :lol: :lol:
