Good Monday Morning, Everyone,
Hopefully Rusty is in the process of breaking his fur-shot bounce and will get back in the groove today. He had a good night sleeping between his beans, getting up from time to time to finish his nighttime food. This morning our test and shot went well (I think!) and he enjoyed his first sitting of breakfast, his "lung treat" (again, he wanted it before the schmooze), our schmooze, and is napping in his little bed by the radiator.
The weather is getting warmer. Mud Season is here! It may be in the 50s today and sunshine is predicted, but this morning it is damp and overcast. I have to get my spring hiking gear ready for a hike to a series of waterfalls on Wednesday. I guess we'll put the skis and snowshoes away (but within reach, just in case we need them again). No paddling yet (ice-out hasn't begun on the waters we normally paddle, although some of the rivers are free), and bicycling is awful at this time of year because of all the sand and crud on the sides of the roads.
Wishing everyone a good start to the week. Sending healing vines and positive thoughts to all in need of them,
Ella & Rusty
