It looks like Ripley surfed the flat blues last night :smile: .
Breath update: Last night I noticed a strange smell coming from Ripley ~ I don't smell it this morning. Perhaps it was indigestion, as Sienne suggested, or something she ate, as Ella wondered... I'll keep an eye (or a nose, rather :lol: ) on it...

I'm excited about today's raffle drawing! Kat did a great job with organizing it! :-D

I hope everyone has a great Monday. Sending vines to those who need them today!

Hi Josie, nice blue AMPS to start off little Ripley's day. I'm glad the smell is gone and hope it was just something she ate. Have a nice Monday at school with the kiddies.

Hi Josie, glad to hear Ripley's stinky breath cleared up! That is a flat cat you've got, lovely low blues, but keeping paws crossed she gets some time at the lagoon tonight.

Hi, Courtney, she was rather flat, wasn't she. I wonder if she has something up her sleeves (and as long as it isn't something stinky, I'm ok with it :lol: ).

Ripley's doing just fine this afternoon :-D . It's a very windy day, so she's out in the backyard sniffing like Mannie :-D !

Off to Walmart - they have plastic boxes in TONS of different sizes! You had better be safe and get backup chocolate and backup wine for your hypo chocolate and hypo wine. There could be a shortage. Someone could accidentally misplace your primary chocolate/wine. A stash is always good.

Be prepared.

Hi, John, :lol: it was the front end. I'm not about to go around sniffing the other end :lol: :lol: .

Ripley is finishing up her dinner part deux; the first half was given to her during her insulin shot, the second half during her sub-q fluids (or, as Marje calls them, "squids" :lol: ).

Civie Smokey is watching Ripley like a hawk, hoping for freebie fuds. She's such a brat. But luckily she's easily distracted by a laser pointer. Ripley's meal just got saved by a little red light.

Now this is MY kind of hypo kit :lol: !!!

Sometimes my kitties seem to just have plain old "cat food breath". I hope that's all that was going on with Ripples...I'm glad the odor is gone. Have a great evening!!!

Hi, Amy, I think we should ask FDMB to add a few things to the "How To Treat Hypos" stickie :lol: Yeah, the odor was a little worrisome ~ wasn't the avg. kitty-breath smell. I wonder if she rolled in something outside, and maybe I was smelling something in her fur rather than her breath. I'll never know...

I decided we're coming to your house for the pj party. I have no ice cream or chocolate and Courtney has raisonettes (how disgusting....who eats raisonettes? :lol: :lol: ...sorry C).

LOL Ironically, PJ parties involve a lot of cat naps. ;-) I'm working on a little PJ party photo right now... have to do something to stay awake!

It is. I have a term paper due tomorrow night which I've been working on it intermittently. I have tomorrow off before class, so I will have time to finalize everything. i am useless right now... LOL. Too tired to focus. I have another project due on Thursday and my students are turning in their final paper of the semester on Wednesday, so I have a LOT of grading to do, too. ohmygod_smile My avoidance personality disorder is flaring up! :lol:

They do look so happy together!

One of my deep dark secrets is that I am an artist. Not too much experience with digital art, painting and drawing is more my thing!

I had a feeling you were on the creative side. We'll have to art-chat sometime. I like to play with drawing/painting, too (and not just with my kindergarteners :lol: ). I have a degree in art, but with an emphasis on art history.

Really? That's amazing! I'd love to talk art with you someday! I have some of my work up on my deviantart account which I haven't updated in ages. Some photographs, drawings, polymer sculptures, jewelery... I really dabble in everything.
