Yesterday was a NDW day http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=68185
Looks like we might still be settling into this dose. I hope she gives me a good indication in 2.5 hours. I'd like to catch the ferry to the island to visit my parents for Easter dinner. As Pip said, I have realized I plan in + times now. The ferry is at +6, but I can get in a +5 before leaving to get to the ferry terminal. Dinner and dessert over and ferry back in time for PS.
I hope everyone and their cats is having a great Easter. The kitties had raw turkey this morning and tonight is lamb. We couldn't figure out what protein dinner should be! Seems that way with beans around here, some people are having both turkey and ham. It's my fault if the Easter Bunny doesn't bring what you wanted. They had rabbit yesterday.
I've started mixing a little lysine into Neko's food, thanks to Pip for letting me know where to find some without rice starch as the main ingredient. Neko has had one slightly weepy eye since before diabetes was diagnosed. The vet had thought it wasn't anything when I asked her about it at the wellness exam where the FD was determined. About 3 years ago she had some conjuctivitis, but no symptoms other than the eye at that time. Her eyes had been clear for a couple years after treatment.
