Yesterday's OTJ Trial Day 5 Condo

Good Morning LL and Welcome to the Week, and May it be a Good One!

Leo is all well and good. Last night he found a spider on the under side of the closet door frame and started crying to eat it. If course it was way too high to reach and he was straining his head looking at it. He kept running back and forth from one side of the door around to the other side (the door was open) emitting these little cries of frustration, then getting on his hind legs trying to get closer. This happened a couple days ago, and mommy had to get up and kill the spider because 1) Leo couldn't reach it and I didn't know what kind of spider it was and 2) mommy was in bed and wanted to be asleep! So AGAIN, mamabean exterminator service to the rescue. However, it took a bit for him to realize the spider is truly gone and not just hiding. Silly kitteh!

Leo was a lazy butt all day yesterday while I was gone, and I came home to a PMBG of 51. My first thought was, "I have to surf him, but I don't have enough data to know how fast he's falling!"   Do'h, he's not getting any extra insulin, silly bean! ohmygod_smile :-D ohmygod_smile

Thank you for the late night visits Wendy and Liz!

Congratulations for Soldier on going OTJ - awesome party, dude! - and making it to the Falls! Hey Solider, keep the door open because Star, Mego and Leo are bounding right after you!!!

I really prefer the moths for Shadow to hunt... as far as I know there aren't any dangers....
but Spiders always get the splat....

Oh just you wait Leo - Maui will teach you all about surfing and chillaxing and how to get breffis in bed anytime you want it - just because you don't want to move! who needs silly spiders when you can get room service.

Happy Day 6! Leo ----- keep on surfing and what a happy 51 you are - it looks good on you......

Hi everyone! I'm finding Leo's little milk plastic strip in the oddest places! Under the bed, near the litterbox in the bathroom, under the TV ... for a cat with a hangover, he sure made a lot of smoke today! He's zipping around with his white mousy now. Hiding behind the chair, waiting for me to run over and play Got your Tail! He is so much fun!

HI Mary - I agree - the stampede is a wonderful thing ... need more kittehs in the parade! I'm catching up a little - I slept about 6 hours in a row last night. I still get up but I can go back down usually. But it's SO STRANGE to get up and find that it's PAST NADIR!!!

HI Kat - Spiders - ick! Most other stuff I can' handle. Sharks, eels, snakes, etc. but no SPIDERS!

Thanks on Leo - he is flipping his tail as I'm talking to him. :-) (BTW - great job on the drawing today - you rock!!!)

Hi Ann & Maggie - thank you! I told Leo and he's busy watching TV. Little fart. Happy Monday!

Hi Michelle and Mannie - I told Leo and he flipped his tail and looked at me. Maybe he knows he's busted after his late night partying and spider event! There had not be any more spiders tonight!

HI Rich - thank you for stopping by to cheer him on!

Hi Devon ... "widdle spider"   It's just a widdle fing!

Hi Deb - thanks for the cheering - Leo is looking at me like, "why do you keep telling me stuff off the computer, mommy?"

Hi Rhiannon - I agree - the moths are ok. Or daddy long legs would be ok. We had a cat years ago who would go outside on a leash and he would eat them and the long skinny legs would be hanging out the side of his mouth! Yup on the splat. Flip flops are the best.

Hi Hillary - Leo says that Maui can drive her fast car over here any time she wants! He doesn't know how to get me out of bed by annoying me ... yet!

Hi Wendy - ACK! That is a scary spider, and on a cat that looks just like Leo! ACKKKKK!!!!!

I guess I'm in the minority: I actually like and appreciate spiders--for their skill in constructing beautiful webs, for their job as insect controllers, and for the admirable ways they are able to roll themselves into a ball when threatened. We had a beautiful, large spider living in a corner of our bathroom for several years. We didn't bother her and she didn't bother us. She died of old age, I guess.

HAPPY DAY 6, LEO!

Keep up the good work. Awesome!
