Yesterday's condo

Good morning Lantus Land!

Got a few minutes to myself this morning, so thought I'd get a condo in before it's almost tomorrow again!...LOL Been a crazy several days that's for sure!

REALLY China?? A 131 point drop in 3 hours?? I know it's a beautiful day outside today, but instead of cliff diving, couldn't you have maybe gone para-sailing or something?? Cliff diving isn't good for you!

Good thing that (barring anything coming up--anti jinx), I don't have to leave until about 1:30 to take DM to the doctor for her daily update on the pneumonia. By then it'll be +7.5 so hopefully she'll be catching some waves on her surfboard !

What the heck, China? Mama bean does NOT need a heart attack! Come up a bit and surf please!

China, please??? Just a little higher!!

Mamabean's mamabean (your Grandmabean) needs to go to the doctor, so why not come up just a little more so I don't worry about you? Is that asking too much?

I know you seem to really like to sit in those low numbers, but my blood pressure would sure appreciate just a little higher in the next hour!

Okay, China, that's far enough. Get up on that surfboard and head for the high greens, please. Lower blues would even be acceptable, so Mamabean can go take care of bizness! :mrgreen:

Well once again, a "quick trip" turned into an afternoon adventure!

Got home with 10 minutes to go until PMPS time, so no tests from +7 on :sad: The PMPS was a little surprise, I have to admit! I was figuring she'd be higher! She didn't eat a lot for dinner, but she's had a lot more than usual to eat during the AM cycle, so I'm not too worried about it....but I did give her a crumb of cypro so if I NEED her to eat tonight, she'll want to!

Sure wish someone would invent a microchip we could use to monitor our cats BG while we're away using a smartphone!! Doesn't seem like it would be THAT hard to do, does it?

Anyway, the evening adventure has begun...More news later I'm sure!

On the DM front:
Doctor wanted DM to have a chest x-ray and then said she needed another shot today and another one tomorrow...then she wants her on a different antibiotic than the Zithromax (Leviquin I think)...stronger and more broad spectrum. Then she wants to see her again on Friday! But we're keeping her out of the hospital, which is what she wants!

She's also really been wanting to get her hair cut. She gets really crazy when her hair starts to tickle her neck but she's just been too sick and in too much pain for me to try to get her into a hair salon. Since she was able to walk a little today using the walker, I got her an appointment with a lady that had done her a few times when she was in Assisted Living (when the beauty parlor there was too busy to get her in) I had loved the fact that the Assisted Living hair appointments were only $11 (she used to pay about $25) so when I went to pay her bill today, it was only $18 and she' ALSO had a mini manicure!

While she was there, I ran her prescriptions back to the pharmacy to be filled, and then off to vote! I always vote, even in these piddly little elections so I preserve my right to complain about things! I feel if you don't even bother voting, than don't whine to me about what you get in the way of government. You HAD your chance to make a change and didn't do it!

It's been a beautiful day though...very springlike with a few drips from an occasional cloud, but overall sunny and nice! I love springtime!!

Wow...what a day! I hope all the meds start kicking in for your Mom. China sure is beautifully flat - keep it that way, little lady....no dropping!

Glad to hear your mom is not in the hospital. Sending prayers that the antibiotic works quickly for her. Wow China is doing some green surfs. Keep it in the 60's and higher China so your mama can get some sleep! Lovey is at 83 at hour 4 so she is joining China .

Nice numbers tonight, but we all know what this means! YES...it's the dreaded alarm clock!!....LOL

Hey China, we're crashing your PJ party. What say you and Cinco do a dual surf right up close to the shore? The lagoon gets cold this late at night. :mrgreen:

I'm glad to hear your DM is getting such good care and able to stay at home. What a nice deal for her hair and nails. It always makes one feel better to look one's best. Sending healing vines that she kicks that 'monia soon! :-D

Hope we both get some sleep tonight!
