Last night Barsa went into green numbers, i was in fact worried she will go Very low and fed her some high carb food so she's gone up to 295 in the morning. And it keeps rising now 401 at +6. How can this be explained? A bounce form low numbers? If so, is this going to happen every time she gets to good green numbers? The problem is this bounce holds for soo long!
Those green numbers were really nice. This does look like a bounce, and I hope she comes right back down. When they come down from a bounce, sometimes they come down fast, which causes another bounce. So, if you find she is diving down, you may want to give her some regular food to try to get her to slow down a bit. I hope @Jill & Alex (GA) will see your post.
Come on down Barsa, nice and easy.
Just a little reminder...it's really helpful to put the link to your prior day's condo into your new one so it's easy for people to go back and see what's been going on.
I agree that this is a bounce. Barsa's body probably hasn't been in "normal" numbers for quite some time, so now it thinks that those higher numbers are normal and when he does come down into really normal, his liver thinks he's going too low and releases stored sugars and hormones to bring him back up quickly....he "bounces".
Bounces can take up to 3 days to clear, so just keep an eye on those ketones and hopefully he'll break the bounce soon and come back down . As he spends more and more time in lower numbers, his body will re-learn that those numbers are OK and won't react quite so badly.
Yep definitely a bounce. It looked like it took Barsa 6 cycle to clear the last bounce so don't get to worried it it take a couple of days. This is not to say that she won't clear sooner, you just never know when they are going to clear, and when they do they could drop quickly again. The liver training is not fun, but like @Chris & China said as Barsa spends more time in the lower numbers she won't bounce as high or as often.
