I'm starting to get used to these blues! With only 2 yellows and no pinks since the 4th, I'm feeling cautiously optimisitic...

My business partner's kitty, Marley, is still in the emergency care facility, but he seems to be improving slightly and slowly. She visited him last night and he was responsisve to her attention. The cardiologist feels his heart is in good shape and that the murmur is "innocent." The primary vet things all the odd symptoms (low BP, inability to urinate) will resolve has he improves. Still, because of those thing he won't be releaseed for at least one more day. This whole thing was just so sudden and crazy...poor little guy.

Why, oh why did I make that cocky "2 yellows" comment this morning ohmygod_smile ?!?! Will this bean never learn????

Good news is, she's been cleared for her dental next week. Bad news is, I'll worry like crazy until it is well behind us....

Fingers and paws crossed that Marley has a smooth and speedy recovery! I'm sure Trixie's numbers will (antijinx) be back down soon!!

Thanks for the positive thoughts for Marley. Barbara is on a rollecoaster...Marley's been in the hospital now since Tuesday, and they don't know for sure what is wrong. It could be lymphoma, IBD, or some random inflammatory infection. He's still too ill to come home...I feel bad for all of them. Marley is a very sweet boy...

On top of that, my other partner's kitty, Mari, is also ill! He's congested and goopy-eyed, but more than that he's a very social cat who is hiding. Hopefully this one is just a simple URI...I just couldn't believe it when Laina told me today the Mari was sick, too. Unreal.
