We had early roll call for breakfast this morning, and this time it wasn't Neko's fault. The one night Neko lets me get a bit of sleep, the civie decides an hour before breakfast would be a good time to sit on the beans neck to wake her up. :roll: My good little girl cat is purring and snoozing on her bed beside me now. I had massage this morning and was 10 minutes late getting back for final breakfast, but all is now forgiven.

Neko found a new friend last night. After her first dinner she went downstairs. I followed her because I thought she wanted out - I wasn't going to let her out as it was too dark. She went into our mud room and made a bee line for the new air compressor DH just bought. It has nice large rubber tires. Neko was rubbing all over the tires, up and down and around, purring away. Then lay down and hugged a tire. What the heck? The rubber tires definitely have a new tire smell - I guess Neko likes it. Strange cat. :lol:

Yay for massages, purrs, and new toys! They sometimes like the strangest things. Civie Chappy won't leave me alone if he smells Flexall on me.....he literally chases me through the house and tries to rub all over me. :?

A nice start to the day, Neko. Let's see some greens now!

Maybe Neko found out that tires feel like a nice brushing or petting :lol: . Oh wait, does she like brushing? I know she doesn't like mats getting done. Either way, the tire story made me laugh

I guess Theo decided he didn't want to wait for breffis today and that Neko was slacking ;-) I'm sorry that you missed some sleep, it seems to be the story of our lives @-) . Hopefully you can get some rest. Do you hear that, kitties? Mama bean would like some sleep

I had to LOL about Neko's new friend :lol: ! Devon's kitty, Mocha, is in love with their wintertime humidifier. Kitties are so funny sometimes!!

I was worried Neko had zoomed up more for PMPS because she was playing hard with her nanners before I tested her and she's usually more playful in a bit higher blues. Great to see she's feeling good in these numbers. It was a fantastic warm spring day today - kitties just loved the sunshine.

@Shelly, Carla, Rachel, Ella, Amy, Rhiannon, Deborah - Thanks for visiting the kitty with the strange new friend. I haven't seen any visits yet today because DH has kept the door closed to that room. Maybe tonight. I was thinking of Mocha and her BF Hoomie when I saw Neko cuddling the tires. Devon once posted a video that is hilarious. Wish I'd had my camera with me last night. And Rachel - that's a big no on brushing more than 2 minutes. :lol: I'm still feeling it from the massage. My regular therapist has been away on mat leave and this is the first time back for ages - oh my! :shock:

Neko is so funny.
But I can sort of see it.
I think Neko likes the rubbery feel, like how Lucy loves her ZoomGroom.
Maybe we should invent a cat bed made of silicon or something, and it will be a bed that also grooms, and we can make a lot of money!!! :razz:
Ummmm, should I really look into this?

I'm glad Neko is feeling so good and playful!

Looking good, Neko! Soul Sista is jealous if you have a new friend and an aromatic one at that that is just too funny and I love the picture Rhiannon posted. :lol:

Geez, I'm having a hard time keeping up with the conversation :lol: :lol: Rachel is talking about mats and you said your therapist was on mat leave and I thought "I wonder why her massage therapist is brushing mats out of Neko?" Then I figured it out.....maternity leave! :lol:
