For today I proudly offer Mannie's special 10 hr energy coffee,triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls......... PRIMO! Only the best for all my customers....OH! Tea infusions too, by request. They is primo too! I SWEAR! Today : ornage vanilla chai!! Psssstttt.... I gots scones and croissants too! AND! Spring is here, summer is coming: SO: Chocolate orange FRAPPE'S today!

Yesterday was..... YELLOW DAY in MannieLand. :-D It was so wonderful to see him have a day like yesterday. Yellow, and he was able to surf it for a while. What relief it was. For once we didn't have to talk reds and blacks, and alphas. It was nice to see him even and steady. YAY! I have no complaints. I hope for a good day today, blues would be so cool! but... I will take a day like yesterday any day. Mannie - here's to you, some very strong feel better, be blue vines. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. I checked. Several times. Each time he said it was. The last time I got the glare - like seriously? you are asking em that again?" look.... :lol: It was overall a very subdued day for him, with alot of sleeping, and nanner tending. Our weather hasn't been the best - a mixed bag of all sorts of things, so I didn't take him out. it was so windy that I thought for sure it would knock him over. :shock: ;-) So we settled on the deck, where he did get some sniffs. He seemed fine with that, and headed back in after a few. We managed a few very weak sunbeams later in the day. His internal sunbeam magnet is still working, as it took him only a few minutes to find it, and soak up the warmth. His muscle strength and mobility seemed to be a little better yesteday. Maybe it just was a good day, maybe the meds for his anemia are helping. time will tell... Appy was so so this morning. LB is normal, Ketones tests have been negative. Test was good this morning, as was the shoot. :cool: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D yes, it is normal. Mannie said so.

Have a great day everyone. it is the usual Sunday catch-up day for all the things I didn't so yesterday: shopping, laundry, errands, bills.... FUN! not... Weather is rains rains rains... Blech! Still hoping for a woods hike.

Hey everybody - WOOT on yesterday - what funs in NYC! I think I ate to many hot dogs.... but it sure was fun to be onstage in CATS. SWEET! I vote for a chillaxin' day today - Trusty's radiators!! That would be so cool: heat, stories fuds,.... all the good stuff. You guys in? We can make sure all is ready for Soldiers OTJ Party today. Hey - we gets to go to Pittsburgh! I Lubs Pittsburgh. Woo HOO! The kitchen krew gets to do their thing once again. let's roll! ~~ Mannie

Morning Michelle ~O) ~O) nice AMPS for Mannie and fingers and paws crossed for a nice slide today into blues. So glad he had a good day, and sending vines for the anemia drig to help his mobility. It's so good to hear yesterday was a good Mannie today. Squinty eyes :lol: watch out! Thank you Mannie for the Triple Espressos and 10 Hour Energy Coffee and oh boy scones and croissants, too.
I wish we could trade you with a little rain in exchange for our sunshine. I hope today ends up with a nice woods hike. Great pics of your hike yesterday at Meadowdale and right near your house, too. Have a great day and chores can always wait. :lol: Mine are still here.

Mannie, Rusty's radiator sounds great. Wonder if he has any snow. I'd like to get one last snow visit. We can do some grillil and chillaxin today. See ya at the curb, Mags

Hey Mannie,

I am beat! I am so tired and my tummy is full from eating hot dogs and cookies all day! I can't believe how many you ate, you need to enter the Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest in July! You will win paws down! It's good that your mama bean didn't see what you ate yesterday! :o No telling what she would have done. 31 hot dogs, 12 dozen cookies, 10 cupcakes and that was just a snack. I can't believe you ate an entire sardine pizza all by yourself! You are so lucky that I don't like sardines! But Maggie and Tess....oooh they were not at all happy with that and had to share a pizza.

I am having trouble moving this morning, I am so full. Good thing I have my wagon to lay in - I just have to convince Buster to pull it for me. I think I will tie her to the handle and put treats in front of her face! :lol: that will get her to pull it for me..... :lol:

I need to chillax, maybe a nice massage, so I can be ready to party tonight! I love parties!

Oh and my bean says thank you kitteh barista for today's special delivery!

Be there as soon as I can roll myself out of here!

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) It was great to see yellow this morning. We spiked at +2, but I'm hoping he can repeat yesterday, and find at least the yellows again today. Paws crossed. I known those squinty eyes - message was received. :lol: I wills end you some of this rain - what a downpour it is this morning. I'd gladly take some of your sunshine... we shall see on the woods hike today, then again ti would not be the first time I have gone when it is raining... THX on the pics! And I agree - the chores can always wait.... :cool:

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) yesterday was great! It was even better to wake up to another yellow. I so agree on the mobility and the muscle strength. today isn't too bad either. I hope this means that the anemia meds he received are beginning to make an difference, and that the 2 week prognosis I got last monday has now changed, I so hope... IM Vet said it can take 1-3 weeks for this med to have full effect. Paws are crossed.

Checkers - DUDE! Sounds like a plan - I am all for it. Yellow is so better.... it's kinda scary up here on this red floor. funs at first but then.... well, no. See ya in a few!~~ Mannie

I'm glad his sunbeam radar is working and I hope he finds more rays to lay in today. I also am happy for you that the meds may be working so he feels better and has some better mobility...or strength in his legs. but most important is that he continues to monitor his nanner stash!

Hi Marje - thanks, I hope so too. We have the paws crossed on the meds - and so hope they make a diffidence. Time will tell.

at least the nanner pile remains intact. That is so Mannie.

THX too on the weather - still raining, but it is early yet, hopefully by late afternoon it will be better.

Hi guys,

How great that Mannie had a really good day yesterday. Let's have another one today, Mannie, OK? It must have been the thrill of being onstage in Cats! (not to speak of all those hotdogs). Thank you for the espresso from Ethiopian beans, Kitteh Barista. It was superb. (and much needed after being out late last night at the party).

Michelle, I hope that the Mannster will come back down and have another good day today. Sorry about your rainy weather. Time to get those indoor chores done, I guess!

Yo Mannie, We still have snowdrifts where the driveway was plowed and we still have a crusty snow covering in the woods, but that's about it. The radiators are warm and it is a pretty warm day, too, so we can go outside and chillax on the back stoop. See ya later. We've all got to decide what to cook tonight for Soldier's OTJ party.

Hi Ella - It was great - a decent one all around for him. I too would like another one today. The weather is awful here today, which in itself = a serious nap day for the kitties. yupp! Had to be that onstage performance with CATS. :-D and yes: indoor stuff being crossed of the list. The rains have lessened some, but it is still darn wet out there... bummer!

Hi Courtney - Me too - always good when he believes all is well in Mannieland. Down is good, and that he seem to be doing. We are fortunate here - lots of nature places: mtns, woods, lakes, rivers to see. very lucky too that they are all fairly close.

Rusty! DUDE! Some snow is better than no snow - I'll take it! Crusty snow = mega good slides! I like the back stoop chillaxin' - AWESOME. Lots of plans to do!~~ Mannie

Hi Michelle, Today's condo sounds so very good! .Yesterday seems to have been a pretty darn good day for the Nanner King. His numbers matching his Nanners!! I'm hoping that his meds are building up and starting to work well together making lots of feel better days for Mannie!

Hi Michelle - it was wonderful to see Mannie's condo and no HI's. Whew. Poor guy! Yellow are SO much nicer on the pancreas, AND on the bean! It's good his sun-meter is still calibrated :lol: :lol: :lol: and that he's still got full responsibility of the nanner pile. That's a serious job to do, and he's rocking that out. I'm sending all my love and vines for you and handsome Mannie, my favorite barista.

DOOODE! Soldier's menu looks awesome (buuuurp) I's making room for more fuds now! HAHAHA! I crack myself up. Hi Mary - THX, and yesterday was good. BG's were good, he seemed to get around OK, as near as I can tell. There are still issues, but overall it was OK. Today is about the same too. I know - I love it when his numbers match the nanners! :lol: Paws are crossed here too on the meds... we so hope! well... today was catch-up> the rains poured all day, so I elected to stay dry... :roll:
