HAPPY EASTER EVE, EVERYONE!!!
My goodness...what a busy month Lantus Land has had!!
Kitties going off the juice... kitties hitting breakthrough doses...beans having surgery...Curry doin' time again...
new kitties joining the family....Sid and BigMac's epic battles to regain their health...WOWZA!
We're also saddened by losing so many friends recently.
Binks and I had a long (well...short, actually) discussion about celebrations, and decided we'll just ignore him falling off the wagon last year-
and claim his OTJ Anniversary today. So, Happy Anniversary, Wheatie Buns- you know mama loves you!!
(my decision was also influenced by the serendipity of capturing a couple of funny Binks pics this week ;-) ).
Mr. Mister continues to do splendidly during our infrequent test times...throwing green numbers, although he did get a blue recently-
He and Annie must be getting up to antics while I'm not looking, as she was sporting a chin rash that she passed to him  ...
and the blue number (a 103) turned up when his lil chinny-chin-chin was at its worst.
Not sure what the rash was- but since we couldn't see the vetty, we tried vigorous chin scrubbies and Neosporin, and it worked.
Annie's got all her hair back, and Binks is without sores- though still a bit bald. :?
The big news from Idaho is that Miss Annie finally took the plunge and had a short but sweet play session with Binks!!! \M/
We were having a great time playing with his Tiger Tail Toy in and around the Kitty Tunnel...
and when Binksy's turn took a little too long, Annie just couldn't contain her excitement- stole the toy from me-
and initiated a rousing game of kitty chase through the house! They played for a good 4 minutes-which thrilled Binks and I,
and thoroughly pist Ol' Smudgie off. Of course, Annie was then embarrassed by her weakness, and ignored Binks for the next 2 days
All three furkids are looking healthy and happy, so life is good. They're not altogether pleased with my "service schedule"-
job interviews, temp assignments, day trips with my sis, and yard work put a serious cramp in my ability
to cater to their every whim as quickly as they'd like...but the upside is that all 3 cuddle with me at night.
The last three days have been particularly busy...but what could be better than coming home worn out
and being pinned to the couch by furries that genuinely miss you when you're away??
Things are looking positive on the employment front...but rather than jinx it, we're just crossing fingers and paws.
Sending wishes for love, laughter, and health this Easter to all our Lantus Family. :YMHUG:
And I got a huge belly laugh over the following pics...I had paused the DVR- and came back to find Binks "ready for his close-up, Mr. DeMille".
Thank goodness I snagged the camera- you've gotta admit the words on the screen couldn't be more appropriate for my lil miscreant!!!
well...bugger....can't get his pics to post
Thanks for the posting tip, Ann...Here's a link to the pics!
