Mannie started out the day in bounce mode - with a 399. He had an exceptional night the night before, visiting the 40's. He seemed to like it there.... :roll: I wasn't too surprised to see that he bounced. I was happy though to see him come right back down to the blue. The morning was spent with a low mid level blue surf. SWEET!!!! The afternoon however? Looks like he wanted to be sunny yellow. And so he was. This morning however - back to those darn pinks.... Mannie? How about the blues and the greens. Sound good to you? cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. He anxiously awaits the arrival of the human kid, aka Nicholas, to see what the little one is up to today. He has secured the nanners, and the toy basket: everything got a rub and a paw down. Nanners were slobbered on, and I was ever so grateful that he did not do that with the baby's toys. :lol: :lol: Breffis consumed with gusto, but alas no fuds dance. Figures, as the bean was ready with the camera. One of these days Mannie - I will get video! For now napping is in progress, and he is dreaming: no doubt of all the last minute party preparations for Binks OTJ celebration. :-D :cool: :cool:

Have a great day everyone. I am caring for my DGS today, so don't know how many condos I will be able to visit. I hope everyone has a great day. Know that I am thinking of you all.

Kitties! It's here! Today is the day - BINKS OTJ PARTY! I am sooooooooooooooooo excited. Kitchen Krew: we have much to do - so grab your hats and ladles and spatulas. We are off to IDAHO! We have planned long and hard for Binks party, and want everyone to celebrate. We have commemorative ruby slippers for everyone to wear at the party - it is so Binks. Cool huh! :cool: :-D It is sunny in Idaho - fitting I think. We will have Binks party under the rainbows, so that we can all too remember our friend Maverick who has gone ahead to the Bridge. Hey Master Chef Mannie: wearing pink this morning in honor of Dorothy/Binks? Cool man!! But wear green to the party, 'cause it'll look great with the ruby slippers! I'm ready to go man, in our special bus. I'm so excited for our buddy Binks. My grillin' stuff is all ready and the menu for the party is da bomb. Hi Michelle, have fun with your DGS, Nicholas! I had to laugh when you said Mannie groomed his nanners but not Nicholas' toys - yet! Mannie, please come down to some nice low blues and greens for your Bean. I think he said "yes."

First, have to :lol: :lol: :lol: at Ann's picture. That is exactly what Tessie would do when my granddaughter comes over! Looks like Mannie and Tessie are both doing the pink thing. Come down right now! Well, just wanted to pop in and say hi, and have fun with the grandbaby! :-D

Mannie, I can't decide what to wear to the party. Does yellow go with red? I don't want my ruby slippers to clash with my yellow boa. Mom says no way on a pink one. Lovely morning for you guys, even if stinkus pinkus is temporarily the color of the day. Maybe a gentle, if higher, cycle will help keep the bounces from happening? Yep. I'm the queen of rationalization. I can put a positive spin on anything!

Hi Michelle. Well it sounds like everyone at your house is adapting well to having your grandbaby Nicholas spending the day with you now.I remember when Ayanna was born. The boys thought she was great but Tori was sort of of the "Not another kitten" mindset. Funny though. After a while they became so close. Hard to believe that Ayanna is going to be 4 on the 15th of this month.

I bet the kitchen crew is working really hard getting all the food ready for Bink's OTJ party. I'm so glad for them. I'm so sorry though for Maverick's , Doodle's and Minuet's Beans. Three such brave boys gone so close together. It's so sad. My heart bleeds for them. One thing I do know though is that the GAs all gave them a wonderful welcome. I know they're going to be at the party tonight too. Our kitties whether on this side of the veil or the other are eternally bonded with each other.

i'm so jealous that so many of you have grandchildren! my kids aren't there yet (which is a good thing) but i would love to have a baby around again!

Hey Mannie, Maybe you'll come down a bit later. The party is really gearing up. Lots of kitties here already. Willie and I are manning the grill while you, Tess and Gracie get all the other foods ready. What a fantastic menu!! And everyone in their red slippers. Binks is holding court. This is going to be one swell party. Our new GAs will be with us tonight, along with all of our GAs. I can't wait to sing with Moonie for them.

Looks like some of the partygoers got into some goods they shouldn't have!! Willie is blue (which I will SOOOOOO take), but is still bouncing tonight as well!! Maybe Gracie can host a poolside chillax session tomorrow with some magic nipcates???

Glad you guys had a good day! Willie has only experienced small children once... he was too funny. He went with the "If I keep it in front of me, it can't get my tail" approach. Was a hoot to watch! If I go to Michigan to see my godsons this summer (almost 3 and almost 2 :shock: ) I may pay to take Willie with me on the plane rather than leave him with a sitter... for an extended trip, it is about the same price, and while he'd have to adjust to two toddlers, two cats and a dog, I think he'd do okay, esp. with each flight being in the 1 hour range. That, or they may visit here...I'd just love to see the interaction!!! LOL Kinda like part of me wants to see Willie with a kitten to boss around.... :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
