Read up on Acromegaly last just in case that is what we are dealing with...the numbers are down so far today. Does that mean I should feel encouraged??

If Tiffany is my cat I would definitely feel encouraged.:bighug:

The 290 at +5 is very appropriate and it is her first Yellow number in a while.
The nadir which mostly is at +6 is still ahead and you might see lower BG yet.

When cats are in higher numbers, the nadir may not be as obvious as when they are in lower numbers. And not all cats nadir at +6. When Neko was on Lantus, most of the time she nadired between +7 and +9. I have seen some Lantus cats nadir as early as +2 and as late as +12. And the nadir can move around with a given cat, based on other things, such as whether there was bounce.
