Good Morning, Everyone,

Another cold, cloudy day here with snow flurries. Rusty is doing his usual winter routine: up before the "ducks", good test, shot, breakfast (Wellness Turkey, 2 sittings), and a nap on his bed by the radiator. But he knows I'm going out today! I am going on a 9 mile hike to Racquette Falls (rapids on the Racquette River) with the girls, and my boys will be home alone, watching out for each other. They both have their instructions.

Wishing you all a good day and sending special healing vines to BigMac.

back around +9 or so, maybe in time to catch the end of the Mets' Opening-Day game.

Morning all!

Enjoy your hike today Ella - it sounds wonderful, snow flurries and all. Winter just does not want to leave us. I hope you have a very good time.

Ok Rusty - you be good, and have fun with your daddy bean. Mama bean left you instructions, so make sure you read them. Think green too OK?

Have a great day!

Have you ever posted a picture of Rusty on his bed by the radiator? Have a great hike and I'm sure your boys will follow your instructions - surely that includes visiting the lagoon? :-D

Hi guys .. burr, sounds like a cold morning there! Rusty, how about showing some greens for your momma when she comes home today? I hope your boys behave themselves and I hope you have a fun time on your hike .. I won't be here tomorrow, so have a great weekend!

Re: 4/5 Rusty AMPS 138

Have fun on your hike, is there still ice on the Falls? That would be so gorgeous.

The boys will "follow instructions" and fill you in on the game when you get home.

Re: 4/5 Rusty AMPS 137, +9.5 137, PMPS 218/193(!)

Hi again,
I wonder if it was a fur shot this morning? It didn't seem like it. That's a steep rise from +9 to PMPS. The 218 was on my Relion Micro; the 193, on a different drop of blood, was on the Arkray Mini (same meter, different brand name). I took the readings on different meters because I was wondering if my Relion was getting imprecise (Rusty's numbers have been erratic). Anyway, if we see no improvement in Rusty's numbers by tomorrow morning I will be fattening his dose to a fat 1.5.
Rusty and Edward had a relaxing day. Rusty went outside briefly but didn't like the weather. Apparently he slept most of the day. I think the weather is depressing him.

The hike, in unpleasant damp, chilly, weather with lite, wet snow and drizzle, was OK and we were glad to be outdoors even in crummy weather (we had 9 hikers). We saw some amazing things: like huge mounds--3 feet high--of pine cone pieces underneath the pine trees. Apparently red squirrels had a banquet! 7 or 8 trees had bases that were "wrapped" in pine-cone husks. The river was really moving fast, and the falls were moiling. The trail was in good shape. I tweaked the side of my knee (ilio-tibial band) and hope I'll be able to walk tomorrow!

The Mets won! I got home in time to see the 8th and 9th innings.

Off now to visit condos (before I fall asleep at the computer!)
